Oh no, no, no, don't even get me started on social anxiety. I had severe social anxiety last year to the point that it's more than likely that I also had selective mutism. I spoke very little and to very few people because my anxiety had been far too much to handle. That, and a combination of it with depression as well as enough symptoms to fit many other disorders that I hadn't been diagnosed with still has me wondering how I managed to survive. Last school year was a living Hell, and the situation is far to detailed therefore I won't elaborate since I'm too lazy to type up walls of text right now.

Social anxiety is quite a bitchy mistress, it and its sister depression are causing one's mind to constantly attack itself.

Sorry if this is a triple post or something. I can't be sure with this internet.

The thing is, I can talk to people. It's just that there's a feeling inside me informing just how much I really don't fucking want to. If someone approaches me unexpectedly (not including family) I barely know what to say even if they ask something simple. And you know what, I'd be fine with only talking when I want to but then they come with shit like "Partner projects" and before you know it you have to spend the next week with someone you don't even know their name from. I'm a quiet person, even around friends and family, and I am personally OK with that. It's not like me being silent means I'm unhappy (Which a lot of people seem to think. No, it makes me unhappy when I'm being forced to and inside I'm going insane) and I'm not gonna freak out if you want me to talk because( I'm relaxed around friends and it's more that I'm just shy) because people should be allowed to expect me too but then there's people like my mother who get overly upset about the fact that I'm not a chatting machine like my brother. Just leave me alone for fuck's sake. I've already been more social then ever over the past year and instead of that being appreciated I only hear that I should be even more. It's been nearly a week and she's still going on about the fact that I apparently "disrespected" my uncle for not really saying much during the dinner he invited us to. :/

I'm not sure if I know what you're talking about exactly, but once in a while (maybe once or twice a year) my eyes will hurt for a day or two while keeping them open, and I get extreme tunnel vision.
