Off Topic

I dated a boy who lived in Washington once, over the internet. It was great for about eight months until he told me about his other boyfriend at home. ono

You do realize this is the off topic thread, all 1352 pages are completely random and the people posting here are going to speak their mind in any way what-so-ever.

What's up with that "get out"? You can't expect me to know who everyone on this forum is, especially not someone who is the first time I ever hear of. :|

And oh.

Ow, that probably came unexpected.

I'm sure that can be a difficult something when it's long distance. I guess it depends on the person, I've not had any interest in girls (Well in terms of a relationship, not as a whole :lol: ) since I've got together with Zepto, but I can imagine that for some others the desire to physically be with the person may be too strong, and that that may eventually lead to them looking for someone else. I mean I'm shy as hell but you'd easily bribe me if what you offered me was meeting Zepto in person, but despite all the negative talk about it from a lot of people (*cough* My parents who don't even have experience with it and just assume random shit *cough*) I can confirm that long distance relationships are totally worth it and if it's a good one you won't feel any desire to meet someone in real life instead. Not to mention that it's probably one of the most amazing ways to actually become interested in a person through their personality. I already had a lot more interest in Zepto than any previous girl I had a crush on before I even knew what she looked like, and in my opinion it's an unbelievable thought when someone can manage to do that via the text they post on RPC and deviantArt. :)

there's not even any way anyone who i see in real life could even be a quarter of the fucking awesome that zepto is eue

I personally don't think I could be in a long-distance relationship if I hadn't met the person beforehand. It would be more difficult for me to trust the person if I hadn't ever met them, and I wouldn't be able to feel close to them. That separation would be a bit too much for me under most cases, and, because of this, I admire you for being able to build one up. :)

Though what do I know, since, as a 14-year old, I actually have never been in an actual romantic relationship before, aside from minor crushes.

What's a "joke" to some is not a joke to all.
Nonetheless, the intention was to joke, making it technically a joke.

@Keane: I know the feeling.

All I'll say is, the worth of a relationship/romantic interest cannot be judged until it ends, or it becomes certain that a person is the one you will settle with for good.

I couldn't be in a long-distance relationship, how would I stick my... love post-its on my sweetheart's fridge?
