Often I'll miss just one or two somewhere along the road, and then once I've gone through the whole course, I have to re-explore the entire area to find those one or two I missed, and then once I find them, I have to, once again, re-explore the entire area to find the exit sign, and once more, I will often lose my last life while trying to find the exit sign. On the levels where you only have one spare life, usually it's very difficult to die via collision and you'd have to fall off an edge, but in Tick Tack Toe for instance (the last Picture City level), the whole level is basically suspended on moving platforms and drawing pins, so just nudging anything that damages you will send you careening into the abyss, and I almost always died at least once at a particular part. That is, until I found the red ting gendoor that spawns three 1-ups at the start. That allowed me to progress to the end, but after a billion attempts, I finally managed to beat the level having only died once, in six minutes.
Knowing that the level designers were regular Rayman players, it doesn't amuse at all why the levels are so unpolished in terms of player guidance for the correct directions for the Tings and the Exit Sign itself. To tell the truth, if it weren't the YT walkthroughs, I would probably have never adquired motivation to play the 24 levels of it, knowing how frustrating they can be. There are fun levels though.
What I can recommend as an alternative are Ubisoft's 60 inédit levels released later in an expansion with a similar name. These are already designed by Ubisoft people so they are much more accessible and enjoyable in the gameplay experience. At least I had more fun with these than Rayman Designer.

6 more to go until Candy Chateau.....
Next up, The Hard Rocks. Or Eat at Joes, depending on what mood I'm in...
Fantastic, now getting the other cages are going to be piece of cake!
