Actually I completed the already given answer.I thought it isn't considered a double answer.

You answered same question twice and I did not instruct otherwise.
 
already checked the rules again, I may have *cough*edited*cough* the rule in my last post. and now it seems i'm breaking a 3rd rule by going off topic. maybe I should just avoid this thread completely :?
 
Don't avoid it, just think a bit more before you post and if you poseted answer for that question already.
 
Ehh, it's no worry, you didn't edit the post back in, and was merely clarifying the situation. That rule is more to do with editing previously given answers to another one.
As for off-topicness, it's no worries, as you were merely clarifying your stance from earlier.

Essentially, don't worry, I'm not going to hand out punishments all willy-nilly unless I feel it's necessary, don't be put off just because you made one trip-up.
