Ah, yes, the soul eater moon, I forgot about that one.
Also, somebody needs to texture hack the sky in one of the rayman games to have both those moons.
Or maybe as a secret option in ROTD.

Idea for a Rayman plot.

Rayman Oranges:
Rayman is happily eating oranges, then some guy threatens to steal the oranges. Rayman has to defeat him while eating oranges along the way and picking oranges for the mysterious teensie magician helper. It turns out in the end that the magician wanted to eat the oranges himself. Rayman defeats him and goes back to eating oranges.

press B to pick orange
Press triangle to peel orange
Press spacebar to eat orange
tap A button repeatedly to enjoy the flavour of orange

I get it! You were talking about this in the chatroom. Rayman Origins=Rayman Oranges. Legends=Lemons. Times=Limes. The Rayman Citrus Saga!

Ah, yes, the great Rayman citrus trilogy! :D

Rayman Lemons is basically the same as Rayman Oranges except with less oranges and more lemons and more sour-face-pulling. :)
Rayman Limes probably won't take off because who the heck just casually eats a lime lol

So is this a PS3, PC or Xbox game? Or is it a PSBOXC game?

Hmm...what if Rayman Oranges had the exact same plot of Donkey Kong Country? But instead of bananas it's oranges, and instead of Donkey and Diddy Kong it's Rayman and Globox? And instead of King K Rool it's Mister Dark?

Ech, Donkey Kong Country, spectacular a game series it is, is not what I'd want to envision Rayman to be like, if I'm being honest.

How about a story where Ales tries to bring back Mr.Dark, steals the heart of the world for him and gathers an army of nightmares. Rayman and Globox try to stop him but are too late, Mr.Dark returns. Ales greets him like an eager fan, but is immedialty thrown through a window. After that Dark destroys the heart and runs off.

Rayman and the gang must gather the stregth they need to defeat Mr.Dark and return balance to the world. during the adventure they see old friends like Clark and Ly, some new friends like Barbara, meet foes from the past like the Robot Pirates and a revived Reflux(Whose now a little minotaur), team up with Ales Mansay, Mr.Dark turning Rayman into a rabbid and finding the secret of Mr.Dark.

It's more suited for an RPG than a platformer.

Hm, or even a Metroidvania, it seems to be a thing to start off with quite a bit of power, but lose it shortly thereafter. Once that occurs, the idea is usually to progress by regaining lost abilities and powers.

No RPG suits it better because its a long journey because theres a bit of focus on the other characters like Ales,Globox and Barbara. plus the world will be big like you explore most worlds from the games and some new which I haven't thought. Also the Rabbid thing with Rayman is his main character arch mainly because his friends think his dead and he can't do a thing to tell them otherwise, plus he lost all his powers and has a Reflux minotaur looking down at him.

Hm, Metroidvanias tend to be a little less plot intense, I see what you mean. I guess we differ in ideas there, while I'd love the explorative element also, I'd prefer having it in the traditional platforming sense.

I'd kinda like to see a thing where Rayman is on a mission to escort Cookie, Betina, Lac Mac, and Flips back to his home so they can finally be safe and free. And along the way they get approached by Razorbeard (who's still working for Rigatoni) and Rayman has to defeat him again.
