Rare Rayman Pictures

Indeed, hence why I flagged it up as such, there's a Wiki article that needs making if that's the case.
In addition, quite a few of those images are useful for illustrating development items, there's some very rare Rayman 2 prerelease stuff in there too, and what I've got there is merely stuff that I think should be looked at for consideration for the Wiki. There's still plenty of stuff in the bowels of the topic itself that I either missed or skipped over, I think it'd be useful if we also started cataloguing what we find for the front post, to prevent having to score through posts to find things.

But I digress, I'd like to hear opinions on what I've dug up and eligibility for usage on the wiki.

Regarding the cancelled DS game I've tried to go onto the portfolio blog that the art originally came from and it now appears to be invite only, and it's got that robots.txt thing on it so I couldn't look it up on Wayback. Any ideas?

I remember that Rayman Education thing. I fear it got scrapped because we never heard anything else about it. To be fair, we wouldn't even have had knowledge of this if the pictures were not found.

Master, I want to thank you for posting those sources. I remember toiling away one time trying to find the Joystick ad proving that Rayman has a liking for chocolate. That line "No arms, no chocolate" had me laughing!

Anytime, like I said, those are only a few, I only picked out ones that I think could be put on the wiki, there's still plenty more that I skipped or missed in the bowels. Perhaps we could use that as a base, and dig up the rest of the links I've missed, that way, we could have a front post which actually provides links to everything we've discovered, eliminating the need to comb through all of these pages to find them.

I never knew about Rayman Education for DS until yesterday. I personally think that it was planned for DS long time ago before Origins for sure and before 3DS was made. Right now it would not make any sense to release new Rayman on DS. If they would release new Rayman Education title on Nintendo handheld, it would be on 3DS.
Shame it was cancelled. If it was released, maybe characters in Rayman universe would take different direction. Still, it would be interesting to see modern educational title.

Also, I do have a headcanon that Rayman is crazy for chocolate. Rayman Premiers Clics seems to suggest that.

I think you're thinking of the cancelled DS port.
I will still complete my Rayman CP youtube playthrough, I've just been way too busy with coursework at the minute (as well as living on campus where I don't have access to it). When the holidays have settled in, I hope to have the first few videos up at last

That's a possible thing, hence why I suggested about an image archive. I do have a collection of Rayman pictures but around the mess there are common and rare picture's I've collected.

Hmm, quite so. I know the Wikipedia organisation have a seperate Wiki as an archive for all uploaded images, perhaps we might find use in such a thing?
