When did you first visit RPC?

I actually didn't learn about Rayman until I was 12, when my cousin sent me a copy of Rayman Origins, I looked up "Rayman" on PSN, found Rayman 1, and now I'm here.
Mastered those Rayman 1 mechanics in just a year, hm?

Mastered those Rayman 1 mechanics in less than two years, hm?
You should have seen me in my first year. Fucking failing at every turn. I even died at the SECOND STAGE of the game, and in the Bzzit boss battle, when now those things are incredibly easy. I actually had to use the 99 lives cheat numerous times to get through the game in my first playthrough. With practice and patience on the PC version (the one thing I credit it for), I eventually got much better.

I believe I actually started playing in late 2011, actually.

Either RaymanZone was never big, or RaymanPC was founded and became the largest community in less than a year. How did you manage? Timing? :o
I meant fan-made community, back then the official forum was still bigger though after its first deletion by ARZO all of it was lost. We were still the largest unofficial community by far anyway, and growing fast. Even though it's undeniable that PC benefited from Ubi's lack of care of the official community (as a matter of fact, PC would never have been created if RZ had been properly managed), the key factor to our success was definitely the handful of great members who made it such an awesome place. Later on, kickass services such as RayTunes, RayWiki, the Rayman 3 Hall of Fame and others only convinced more people to join the party! :partyhat:

I've been thinking about RZ (not too hard, though), and I've come to the conclusion that it would've suffered the same fate even without ARZO. It was poorly managed, unacceptably insecure and didn't generally have the feel of a loved website and forum.

Ubisoft's web team put a lot of effort in at the beginning, with the Lums Race, ranklist, VIP Zone, competitions, etc, but then neglected these things, allowing for cheats (to get more Lums), illegitimate HOF entries, and more. It was only going to be a matter of time before they integrated the forums to the Infopop, Groupee or whatever it is called now master forums, and I suspect they would've wiped all the posts in the process.

Pirate Community all the way!

About a year of 2-3 ago, because I didn't have anywhere to share my Rayman music sheets :P

I first checked out this place back in 2009 when I was searching for the original Razorbeard avatar. I then decided to actually join this place in 2013!

I was looking up Mister Dark fan art (surprise surprise) and stumbled across a cool sketch of him. I followed the link to the RPC and thought, "Hey, this place is cool!" It was sometime in September, I think, because I joined on Halloween while I was working on my Rayman cosplay.

No, that's right, I bought the R1 PS version in September and joined in October.

After my mom bought me Rayman Origins on July 19th 2013 I just searched on google for something ( I don't remember what. ) and found RPC from google images, it was around July 22 2013. I joined later on August 4th though.

One thing I don't get. If your previous account was banned, and you could register again, that clearly means your punishment expired right? Why was not your GOT4N account unbanned then? I mean it does not make sense to be allowed to have new account but have old one still banned. What I am trying to say is that you should have gotten old account back by logic. Perhaps I am missing something though so I cannot look into situation too good.

First visited PC in late 2003 or early 2004, 10 years ago. Some people here were still babes back then !

I remember when you went by the username Corn, and Xenon was Spaceray.

Corn was a much better name than DesLife.

And I'm sorry to say Hoodcom, I preferred CTW :P

When did Xenon change from Spaceray to Xenon09? I remember his name still being Xenon09 when I joined.

I believe it was changed in 2006. Then the 09 was dropped some years after that, probably in 2009.
