I don't watch Adventure Time, so this is surprising to me.

Though my interest goes towards Gravity Falls as they released 4 new shorts. They're pretty hilarious.

They released a new trailer for TMNT, and by new trailer, I mean the exact same trailer with a couple added scenes.

Finished watching The Emperor's New School and I have to say that it ruined the whole direction for me even more than Kronk's New Groove did (I think Kronk's New Groove is decent but not good like first one). In show, Kuzco is most of the time acting like a jerk despite him clearly having a change of heart at the end of original film and show is supposed to be sequel. The whole idea about school is not something I can look positive on becauae I don't know ANY good show with the plot involving school. Another thing I don't get is why they made Kuzco be so desperate for 1 girl. In original film, there was a scene where he was supposed to choose girl and he clearly showed that he doesn't care yet in show he desperate. Totally ruined his character. Another big problem with show is Yzma. Oh my god, she became so dumb. In original film, she had funny moments yet she was still serious threat to Kuzco. In show, she is not big threat at all and her potions can expire. WTF? What was point of first film then if potion can expire and in original film it clearly didn't. Kronk went from being good to being neutral and he works for Yzma again???
If you are a fan of Emperor's New Groove, do yourself a favour and avoid Emperor's New School at all costs. It is a disgrace to original characters makes 0 to no sense in a timeline of events and there are many fillers and plotholes since episodes are apparently labeled wrong and were not chronologically produced. It is a total mess and non-canon piece of trash.

It's pretty good. I find it very enjoyable and everyone should watch it at least once.

i loved that film's humor a lot
but it's still not my favourite movie
and to the series: i generally don't really like movies made into a series and so i don't like the idea with emperor's new school
BUT i have to say that some ideas in that series were really funny and maybe if they had made a completely new series with that content WITHOUTkuzco and co.then it would come out a very entertaining cartoon i guess :3

Is the original movie any good?

It is one of the best Disney movies I watched. Plus I am a big fan of character Kuzco (original movie, not how he behaved in series since he was a big jerk there). The transformation of his character from beginning to end is amazing. I highly recommend watching it. You can decide if you want to watch sequel or not, and avoid series at all cost unless you don't really want to see all problems with it. I really wish Disney use Kuzco character again in some media but made him be like he was at the end of first movie.

Is the original movie any good?

Well, I can definitely say it's my favourite Disney movie and it's the most humourous movie as well. So yes, it is very good. The TV show is rubbish though. The main thing I think lets it down, though, is it's failure to fit inside the canon universe of Emperor's New Groove. Also, I think it's poorly written and has so many plotholes that, if it was a ship, it would've sunk as soon as it was put in the water.

Well it seems like show is generally hated by fans of Original movie not that I am surprised.
I think Emperor's New Groove universe never had enough material for TV series. Everything concluded at the end of first movie. They should however use Kuzco in promotions, cameos or maybe crossovers or him in different universe.

What I would also like to see is finished Kingdom Of The Sun version of first movie.

I don't know, I've developed something of a fondness for the television series in the last few years, but once again I am at the great disadvantage of not having seen the original film. It's good to know that Kuzco's personality in the series isn't what it should be - it gets really annoying after a while.

I understand that you like the series since you didn't see original film. It is very possible that I would myself have different opinion about it as well if I didn't grew up with original and didn't know true personalities of characters.

At the beginning of film, Kuzco behaves similar how he does in series too but throughout the film, he starts to change a lot and becomes great person at the end. It is called character developement and it was done really good.
I really disliked how the series made him look worse than even at the beginning of first movie.
I bet series would have better feedback if they didn't slap Emperor's New Groove characters just to cash in and instead create original IP.

I was even at one point investigating could maybe series be prequel to movie because of how Kuzco behaved and because Kronk worked for Yzma but Pacha's familly cannot let it be prequel since Kuzco knows them already in show and he met Pacha in movie first.

I am not gonna try to change your view on show but I will at least tell you that you should check original.

I understand completely and can sympathise based on what you have written here. Hopefully I can watch the film some day. This franchise-milking is something that really annoys me about the modern entertainment industry.
