LOL, this voice actually sounds way better when singing Japanese than actual Japanese voice actor for Goofy. Here is example:SegaNintendoUbisoft wrote:

Hmm, it's definitely weird hearing Optimus Primal talk like that.

I mean to say, what is this program even - like, I don't get how weird it is. Transformers is about cars, planes and other mechs turning into massive robo-people, not ... dinosaurs? Haha where did this come from?Bradandez wrote:But what else do want to know, I am confused D:Shrooblord wrote:Well, obviously, but still, what?! x)Bradandez wrote:Transformers Beast WarsShrooblord wrote:What the hell was that program even? xD

Re: Funny videos... Lol!?
Ah, Beast Wars came out in the early to mid 90s, if memory serves. It takes place after the events of the original 80s Transformers continuity, where the Autobots beat the Decepticons. From them, came the Maximals and Predacons, Maximals being the descendants of the Autobots, and Predacons the descendants of the Decepticons.
Beast Wars begins with a battle between a group of rogue Predacons, led by their own Megatron, going back in time. The only group that could follow and intercept was a Maximal team led by Optimus Primal. After a space battle, both groups end up crash landing on an alien planet. This alien planet is rife with raw Energon, a substance which is harmful to them if they're in contact with it for too long. Thus, they take alternative forms of the inhabitants of the planet (be they current or fossilised remains), so they can explore without getting harmed.
This part is particularly spoilery, so beware. [At the end of the first season, one of the planet's moons blow up, and stabilise the raw Energon. It is later discovered that this alien planet is actually prehistoric Earth, and within it lies the Ark, the spaceship that the Autobots were in which crash landed on Earth millions of years before they were reactivated in the 1980s. As you can imagine, that gives opportunities to change the timeline...]
