No, but you fight against him. He's like a 3D Dark Ray of R1. Although he doesn't follow your every move this time.

Well, Rayman M is definitely a different sort of Rayman game. I wouldn't call the word 'finish'. It's more of a 'complete'. Because I don't believe it actually has a final battle or ending cinematic...

Well, Xenon, I know there is a ending scene, there were pictures of it on philippe317's great website...
