I've also commented on it, looks like the both of you had a blast collaborating with pieces across the eras. Wishful thinking on my part, but I'd love to see you two collaborate on an official project sometime.
Why not, it's a great idea... who knows what can happen :)
I'd love to see that! My only problem is that the Rayman games have become really extreme and over-the-top in recent years, with a tone very different from Rayman 1, so the next Rayman game might not be the best place for that collaboration. I think you'd be a great match for the Beyond Good & Evil series though!

Does anyone know what Éric Chevalier is up to these days? He's missing out on all the fun!

I third/second what it was said. I think it would be a great thing to see both Mr. Gázel and Mr. Héral working together in an official thing; us fans would be thrilled! But for the exact reasons said before, I don't think it would be a good idea either for a next Rayman game, unless the atmosphere was really going back to its origins (no pun intended). But a BG&E thing would be equally interesting!

I am also one of the people that would love to know what are Éric Chevalier's projects lately, we also share a lot of love for the Rayman 2 soundtrack!

Chrome's translator does make it a little easier, I couldn't get the specifics, but I think I could decipher the common jist of it.

Fifo, mister Rémi will tell anything whenever there's a novelty. If you don't see anything, its because there's nothing new to reveal.

*Bump!*

Any news about the project?

Hi, no "concrete" news, but I'm actually working on the musics (new arrangements), et discuting with some partners for the "organization" part :)
I'm also thinking about the band...
As said by Haruka, I'll post any news as soon as possible :)

Still very excited for this every time I think about it happening. I've had the privelege of having some musicians play one of my own pieces before and I remember it was exhilerating. I like hearing where you take the pieces in the end (improv and variation from the originals, maybe?).

Hem... sorry, i don't understand "I like hearing where you take the pieces in the end (improv and variation from the originals, maybe?"
(my english is a little...incomplete :)
Could you explain ?

Yes! I'm interested in seeing where this project will end up. Will you be playing around with the original songs a lot to make them into something different, something you can improvise on while playing with the other musicians? Or will you stay as close to the originals as you can?

All the 3 are true :) I'd like to play them freely, with some improvisations, but staying close to the original so all players fans can immerse themselves again in the spirit of the game.
A small challenge not easy for me :)

I just listened to the entire Rayman 1 (PlayStation) disc. The music is amazing!
