Why, though? I've read some reviews of them, and most of them say they're, like, one of the most comfortable and best-sounding headsets out there.Adsolution wrote:These look uncomfortable as fuck.technology4617 wrote:http://en-us.sennheiser.com/g4me-zero
I was afraid of this; I read reviews saying that these and the G4me Zero sound great with music, though I also read reviews saying that the B&W P3s were the best thing ever. This is how they sound with no EQing whatsoever?Adsolution wrote:I own a pair of these - they're nice, very comfortable and the mic has great quality. Unfortunately, while the headphones are good for gaming, they are the absolute furthest thing from actually being remotely balanced. They are designed solely for gaming, music sounds like shit through them.technology4617 wrote:http://en-us.sennheiser.com/gaming-head ... al-edition
But, ye, if this is true, fuck headsets.
Ah, yes, I'm well aware that open-backed headphones provide better sound quality, but I was hoping for something a a bit portable that I could use on flights and the like, hence why I was hoping for something closed-back. It isn't really essential, as I have fairly good noise-isolating in-ear headphones, but a feature I was hoping for nonetheless. Undoubtedly, aside from that and the lack of a microphone, these headphones look fucking great.Adsolution wrote:I'd go for the HD 558/598. <- These, for note, are open and have little to no noise isolation. In my opinion though, noise isolation on desktop headphones is nearly useless - what noise are you trying to cancel out?
