The age of consent is considered to be eighteen, but anyone under nineteen is considered a minor.OldClassicGamer wrote:Canadian law treats 18 years old as minors?
In my opinion, it shouldn't be illegal to drink at any age, rather, our culture should have our parents introduce us to and teach us how to be responsible with alcohol. Way back when that was the case, kids would usually get a small glass during a meal, and that lead it not to be seen as a rebellious act, so their misuse was far less common among the population.OldClassicGamer wrote:Thats is in my opinion best age to allow it.
Lol, the punishments for under-age drinking here are so harsh it's basically entering the black market.Rayrobi wrote:The age limit makes no sense, almost everyone does that regardless of their age.

That makes sense. Usually when something is placed off-limits people will try to find ways to step over that limit, which can land them in trouble.Adsolution wrote:In my opinion, it shouldn't be illegal to drink at any age, rather, our culture should have our parents introduce us to and teach us how to be responsible with alcohol. I don't think so, I could tell you if there were no limits everyone would do it, how about that?Earth Gwee wrote: That makes sense. Usually when something is placed off-limits people will try to find ways to step over that limit, which can land them in trouble.
