Actually I first wanted it to be a water costume, but I changed the name it after I made it. Hint: It looks very similar to one costume in Rayman LegendsTHEdragon said:Is it an ice or water related costume?
Thanks for the tip. I just started working on the lighting yesterday and I think it could use a little more darkness since the torch is pretty small. I actually got the idea while playing The Tomb of Ancients on Rayman 2.Shrooblord said:It's starting to look real fancy. Now you just need some fall-off from that lighting on the wall and it'll look pretty neat!
Really? Dang, well I will try to upload a faster version of this demo.Imco97 said:I'd really like to play this, though the game lags like hell. Like really. It's extremely slow D:
Game lagged for me too (even earlier demo) when I tried to record it.Imco97 said:I'd really like to play this, though the game lags like hell. Like really. It's extremely slow D:
When you record the game, it will slow down a bunch. It doesn't though when you don't record it. I will look into the engine and change the overall speed of the game.OldClassicGamer said:Game lagged for me too (even earlier demo) when I tried to record it.Imco97 said:I'd really like to play this, though the game lags like hell. Thats fixed when you move the exe one folder upRaymanni said:I would like to test it, but I'm stuck in the menu, only arrow keys work and can't even select anything, only move the arrow...I literally tried every button from my keyboard but with no results. There is also no music in the menu, I don't know if this is how it's supposed to be but I will just point it out if it's a bug.
Why couldn't it be like that at the beginning? Why does the player have to move the .exe themselves?Imco97 said:Thats fixed when you move the exe one folder upRaymanni said:I would like to test it, but I'm stuck in the menu, only arrow keys work and can't even select anything, only move the arrow...I literally tried every button from my keyboard but with no results. Ok, here is my answers to your cons.Raymanni said:Why couldn't it be like that at the beginning? I'm going to list some sort of pros and cons here:
- The engine itself is really good.
- Level design is also nice
- I like the R2 prototype sound effects and Raymans sprite.
- The powerup cans from R3 is a good addition.
-I still don't think the cubic look of the ground looks good.![]()
-Most of the sprites are not smooth enough, or are completely steady (Like the lums and flower platforms), and that bugs me.
-Floating plums everywhere!
-Maybe add a logo to the main menu?
Overall it's looking kinda good, I think the only problem is the graphical issues.![]()
Why not make the logo yourself with gimp? ^^ Also, the game does not lag for me at all.Rayman502 said:-I will use MS Word Art to make the logo.
