Sea of Serendipity was my favorite natural world in Origins. It was so pretty and honestly was so relaxing. Except in Swimming in the Stars, that level grew intense fast. I also wished there were more Port levels, because frankly, I loved the villages and the Red Wizards that inhabit them.

Sea of Serendipity had my favorite musical score, the one that sounds like it's sung by lums. Such a beautiful, majestic soundtrack.

Brah, there's like three tracks featuring Lums singing in that world.

I guess.

Also, hearing the Lums singing in a low pitch you can hear the singers' real voice. And it's actually quite relaxing. I should post it here.

In a similar fashion, Rayman 2's Lums shouting 'YEAH' when freed is the same sound file, but sped and pitched up, as Rayman's own YEAH!

Heh, sound shortcuts, I recall reading about a similar example with the laughter of Boos in Mario 64 being a sped up version of Bowser's.

Oh, hah that's pretty cool. I guess it makes sense if you're speeding it up in-engine to reduce the file size necessary for your game, but having one file and another that's the sped up version of the first seems a bit lazy to me.

Anyway, I'm off to watch the Doctor Who I just recorded on my tv. :mryellow:

Found it.

Strangely, the voices would be very fitting for Wander Over Yonder, well for me it does. :P

I sense some Waves SoundShifter Pitch or Ableton Pitchshifter in use.

Aw, it sounds so cheesy when listened this way. I always thought the voices were women's. Maybe because of the distorsion.

Really? I never had that idea, but then again, I didn't assign any particular gender to them though, seeing as they were Lums singing in my view.

Eh, they did kinda sound like high pitched male voices to me. I still like this slow down version though, sounds real smoothing.

Is it me, or Lums are very similar to this?

The similarity is spooky.

I think some of the electricity sounds the machine makes are reminiscent of Rayman 2 sounds, too.

Huh, so the 3DS port of Rayman Origins has a bit more dialogue for the Bubble Dreamer.

Hm, really? Would it be possible to share this extra dialogue?

Yeah. But no screenshots at the moment. Just take my written posts on it.

When talking to Rayman:

"Well you're here now, so now worries...RIGHT?"
"Have a good nap!"
"Whack 'em for me!"
"May you snore loudly."
"Long live the giggles!"
"Be gleeful!"
"Laugh til it hurts!"
"Gesundheit!"
"You again!?"
"Will you stop yanking my beard?"
"Sure you want to hear it again? Again?"
"You're back!?"
"Slap 'em for me!"

When talking to Globox:

"You do find yourself fascinating!"
"Fight foolishly!"
"Dukes up!"
"I think I'll catch a few winks!"
"Never get enough of yourself, hey?"
"Enjoy the plum juice!"
"I remember you!"

He says most of the listed examples for both of them, but he says one more than the other if you select either Rayman or Globox.

Maybe the other skins have more dialogue as well? I'll find out.

Also, Ales Mansay has an extra line too in the beginning of Geyser Blowout.

"And since I do and you don't, I gladly take them for you!" This is referring to how one can harness the Lums energy if they know how.
