Rayman (kinda) confirmed for Smash Bros. - VOTE Rayman

Pac-Man has great history with Nintendo though. He is the closest third party character ever to be with Nintendo.
 
Why are we getting antsy about Pac-Man getting in Mario Kart when the core Mario Kart games are JUST starting to branch out and use other characters (well I guess they had R.O.B in MKDS, but still)?

One step at a time. Plus, it's not like Namco had much involvement in the game, if any. They were only credited in the Special Thanks section.
 
Pac-Man doesn't feel right in a Mario Kart game. Well in console versions. I don't even like Link in Mario Kart. Maybe if they used Toon Link, then it'd probably be more fitting.

I think Link in Mario Kart is awesome idea. We need more characters in MK8 that are not from Mario series definitely.

I agree with OCG. They should add characters such as Kirby, Pikachu and Captain Falcon for Mk8 through DLC. When MK9 comes around, they should make it like Sonic + Allstars, where they keep the standard cast of characters that's always seen in Mario Kart (Mario,Luigi, Bowser, Peach etc. ) but add other Nintendo characters from the get-go.

I think they should just add such characters right off the bat instead of having to pay for extra characters (which is really just a vanity thing, but then it's even better to have them from the get-go rather than paying).
 
I agree with turning Mario Kart into "Super Smash Kart", though I think asking for Pac-Man is hasty.

Honestly though, I'd be happy if the next Mario Kart literally had the exact same roster as the new Smash Bros.

I would not ask for him if he was not in MK Arcade games. But considering he was in those games, that proves that Namco and Nintendo have really good relations.I can see Pac-Man DLC happening but as Bzzit said, they will obvuiously give priority to Nintendo characters if more DLC will come after currently annoucned ones.

Pac-Man characters were only in the Arcade GP games because they were literally developed by Bandai Namco, much like the new Smash Bros. They have a mention in the special thanks section of MK8, but what that actually means is ambiguous.

I just don't think Pac-Man will come anytime soon. They are way too many Nintendo characters I would like to see before I start suggesting much in the way of third parties.
 
What if Namco is listed in MK8 as a special thanks because they allowed Pac-Man to be added and it was planned from the whole start but they want to add Nintendo characters first and are keeping it as a secret? Nintendo would not credit them unless they didn't do something important for game.

People credit family and friends in the Special Thanks section of many games. Doesn't mean they worked on the game.

It could have just been a shout out for them making the Arcade GP games (one of which was being developed at the same time as MK8). Or maybe they helped with the online infrastructure. Who knows? It just doesn't mean anything right now.
 
Japan gets an early demo, hopefully we get one as well. For those rich bastards who have a Japanese 3DS, a lot of them will be getting Smash Bros an entire month early!

Here's some interesting gameplay of the demo if anyones interested, I can't wait for my copy of this game, might pick it up at midnight release.

That there are a lot of characters to be unlocked... but this:

is pretty much true, so we know of 12 unlockables already... but as you can see, in the leak, a character was added to each row, meaning when the screen is filled, it doesn't mean there's no more room for more characters. But I'm still expecting this game to disappoint. Dull alt. colors, clones, characters sharing moves... anyone with at least a little creativity could do so much better job.
 
What the fuck, Rob? Why him again? I really felt he's better off a trophy and not an actual fighter, really nobody cared to play as him. And as cool as I am with the idea of making Sheik and Zero suit Samus seperate from Zelda and Samus, I really feel it was kind of an excuse to fill up the roster. Otherwise this roster looks nice. I also am not too comfortable with Palutena being in the roster, I loved her in KI: Uprising but I never pictured her as an actual fighter.

Rush cancelling. Megaman is gonna be OP which I'm okay with since he's gonna be my main anyways :D
 
I see only words, words and words... but then, and without no more turns of words, Rayman will be on next SSB or not? if yes, you make me see the official sources who explain the real presence of Rayman in this game?

Is also possible to see the two skins designed respectively for WII and 3DS?
