What is the deal with FCY?

I got a warning PM for something today. He wasn't spcific on what it was, but I think he wanted to make it clear I'm meant to be bricking myself when I read it.

How did he become a RaymanZone mod? As far as I've seen, he has no interest in Rayman at all. He doesn't seem to enjoy talking to people, so why does he moderate it?

He even locked his own 'hank you' topic!

And it is uncertain whether he will be logging in for years to come or not.

Either way, this guy is starting to bug me. I've had three ban warning from him since I joined, and I've done NOTHING! :x
 
There were and continue to be, several challenges to the development of this course, not least of them the electronic component. I developed this course as an independent, adjunct instructor in a matter of a few months, left largely to my own devices. There were cross-platform issues to deal with; the need to quickly design an application that would be easy to use and reliable; software distribution and assignment submission issues; and the electronic equivalent of paperwork in order to keep track of student progress, grading, etc. Nevertheless, students have responded to the course generally favourably. I was pleased upon reviewing course evaluations for the spring term that many students singled out the helpfulness of the meaning/value paradigm in increasing their understanding of the course material.
 
The guys just got nothing better to do, and strangely enough I started wondering the same thing too, this guy most probably dosn't know a thing about Rayman and became "it's" mod, At least have a KNOWN moderator from the priginal RZ who you know can be trusted, he is very strict with RZ'ers, he apparently thinks of them as 13-15 year old bunch of kids, he's mostly just a biased bigot.
 
He's the reason I don't go to RZ... If he leaves, I might go, but it won't make it even a little better...

Reply and ask him what it's for. If he doesn't specifically say that, he's dumb.

In fact they are, but yes you do have a point,

Anyhow, I have nothing to say, I see no problem, unless he warned you to contract your Internet Service Provider. Chill.
 
I wonder why he became mod.... He will ban you for the smallest things, like not noticing his 'sence of humor' which I don't get.
 
Yeah, exactly. I think he goes to far with the enforcing the rules thing... If you were in a topic where someone else was discussing something 'illegal' or legal, and you weren't discussing it, you'd get banned for participating in that discussion, though you said nothing about downloading...
 
It is now agaist the rules to post a link to download ANYTHING on the site, legal or otherwise. That is a pointless rule, and only serves to annoy us. I don't like him.
 
The only thing he does is annoying people by editing their posts. You know, metabee posted, and he wanted to write bitch, which is censored, then he said 'b***h' and FCY edited it for BYPASSING AUTOCENSOR. That's just fucking crap. :roll:
 
He alreaddy has more powuhs than you, he COULD unmod you! Think about that! If he wanted, he could throw destroy the whole board, enforcing us to do and post WHATEVER he wanted. He could make everyone put 'FCY iz da funny boss' in their sigs!

And I wouldn't mind him so much if he showed a little personality. All we've gotten so far is 'No asterisks to bypass auto-censor please.'

...Come to think of it, it reminds me of an early Jona. :shock:
 
Yeah, I have to admit, Jona was one of the most hated mod's at "ye olde RZ" due to his modding and seriousness, I think he's loosened up now though.
