And if you're going to Paris Games Week, I'll be signing books on saturday (the first of November) at 4 in the afternoon. It's gonna happen at hall 2.2, stand 2.2.B009.
I'll also be at Toulouse Game Show (last weekend of November) this year. We're hoping to have some members of Ubi Montpellier there as well. I'll let you know.

EDIT: They do not offer ANY shipping method to my country. Help me please :(
I will do anything needed, I just want site to add my location to list (even thouh I could select it, when I try to order, they don't display any shipping method)

I can only order digital items on amazon with fake address :cry:

I really want this book. I thought it would get scanned by someone so I didn't worry but since Motormike said no, I assume nobody will scan it so I need to get book for myself to own before it gets sold out.

I think people would be worried about it being pretty illegal and pretty disrespectful to scan the book, more than the fact that the author went out of his way to say it wasn't ok... Just saying.
 
Can't you just have it sent to a valid address (I don't know, a friend's one) and then have the receiver send it to you?
 
Pix can't deliver it to your country? Damned are you living on an other galaxy?
Seriously, I thought they were delivering anywhere around the world.
 
Let's just say that I live in a place that made some mistakes in past and is not very liked worldwide except for few countries such as China, Russia and Japan. It does not help that a huge propaganda happened that made place seem even worse than it is. I will PM you my location so you can know and possibly tell Pix to fix shipping for future if you have that ability to do it. As for this, I will order with freiend's help.

OCG, scanning any kind of book being sold in retail shops is illegal.

Exactly what Eshap said. I think it would be a total lack of respect (and lets not forget the legal factor) to both the author and to the franchise owners themselves to scan the entire two books to people who suppousely claim themselves to be Rayman fans and yet are not willing to pay for having full access to the content. There's work and dedication in the making of the book, a book that many of us desired for years to exist. Those people don't also seem to release that everyone that had to purchase the book had to do an investiment superior to 50,00€ and its expectable that they aren't doing that favour for the others just to save that valour. If they want to read, its their duty to buy it, afterall it is what we did and its the minimum favour we can do to show that we are real Rayman fans and want to show that we support these kind of projects. Its said.
 
As I said before, I had a doubt about the coollector's edition, mainly because I hadn't paid attention to the value of the RL artbook. It actually has a value according to Pix'n'Love's website, which makes any kind of scanning and showing of those completely illegal. I had never said I would like to scan the main book entirely, as it was obvious. For the other part, it's completely my bad, and I already talked about it.

My primary motivation was mainly focused on having brand new pictures for the Wiki. I hadn't even thought about it at first. I still bought the book :).

How am I a criminal by wanting to buy the book soon as possible before it gets sold out since Motormike does not allow scanning which he has right not to allow if he wants to?

Also question for Motormike, do you allow unboxing video to be made but when I show pages, I would blur image so it cannot be seen clear? If you don't allow, I won't do it.
 
I don't know if there is a real unboxing...you have a big pack with bubble paper around the book. And that's it. Oh yes maybe some plastic film around it.
 
Not a big fan of unboxing videos. Always found that useless. Anyway, I can't forbid you to do so if you want to. ^^ And it's not me who doesn't allow scaning books, it's simply the law.
 
@OCG You're not a criminal. I am. I scanned the entirety of "The Art of Rayman Origins", remember?

I soiled the good name of justice!
