Him being in the game as a trophy is better than nothing, especially since I didn't think Rayman wouldn't be in at all. However, the fact he's a third party character that's in the game and isn't playable upsets me. It's like an assist trophy character, it's great to see them in action, but at the same, you look at them and say, "I really want to play as them", that's the Rayman trophy for me. It doesn't affect my thoughts on the game as a whole (that would be stupid), I would still love Smash 4, with or without Rayman.
 
Eh, doesn't seem so weird to me. But then again, what do I know about Smash Bros.? Not a whole lot, to be honest. :fou2:

The problem I have is I'm seeing many people saying "Bring Rayman, or no buy." Like what the fuck, I'd love to see him as much as the next guy but these people go far lengths to beg Sakurai to put there character that they want in, ridiculous. :roll: Of course this doesn't just apply to Rayman but anyone begging for Sakurai to put there favorite character in the game.
 
Better fucking put my Lanky Kong in Sakurai, don't think we forgot, he has no style AND no grace.

For fuck's sake, out of the three arguments you could have brought to the table to validate our need for Lanky, you picked the two less-important ones. On Lanky's behalf, I demand retribution. You are not worthy.

It depends how much he is requested. Mewtwo was most requested after Mega Man and Pac-Man so thats why he is gonna be first DLC. Ridley is second requested after Mewtwo but he most likely won't be since he is stage hazard. From third party if we don't get Rayman, Goemon is a must. Seriously, he had amazing SNES games (also on NES, N64 and other consoles but SNES titles were best for me) and it's a shame he is forgotten character today. Goemon for Smash and Wii U bundle of all his old games on disc please.
 
I still think he has a strong chance. He must have a trophy because of Ubisoft trying to get him in, and I still think that they were just too late to make it for the base game. But since we have DLC now, it's the perfect chance. Plus Mewtwo has a trophy in the 3DS version already as well.

Hmm, it's a nice foothold, guess they've stuck with the not-sneeze Rayman model, then.

Was Rayman 2 on the Wii? Was Rayman 3 on the 3DS? No! The only games on the Wii were Origins and the Rabbids and I'm pretty sure you guys wouldn't want trophies of Rabbids!

I meant, they could mention Rayman Raving Rabbids on his apparitions, they could also mention Rayman 3 on GameCube :mryellow:
 
Why reference the GC games though? It didn't really have an impact on the system. Legends left an impression because it was originally an exclusive launch title. But I don't why they listed Origins for the 3Ds and not the Wii. The 3DS port was terrible and the Wii version was the best selling version out of all the consoles. I think.
