I wonder how detailed the system can get on each person's status in the game.
Such as points, cadges, and et cetera

Re: Rayman 3 Scores
Why? The person I have contacted is not a community manager (who are the only UbiSoft employees you know of) and I'm pretty sure she is ready to help me. I didn't pick up a random telephone number, but I have already met her several years ago, and I know she worked with those who created the original RaymanZone website.Acarr wrote:Bet they won't though.
What do you mean?Acarr wrote:It would be better having a genuine one of our own, but either way this is great
I'll be in touch with website developers, not game developers.mostwanted82 wrote:Hunch, while you're at it, ask your contact whether it could ask for undiscovered secret rooms.
Probably nothing more than points, cages and platform. We'll see about it anyway.Hoodcom wrote:I wonder how detailed the system can get on each person's status in the game.Such as points, cadges, and et cetera

Re: Rayman 3 Scores
Oh, sorry for interchanging this, Hunch, I just thought...
Well, I want to know MandM's tricks now! It's really annoying when you plague with the dumb matuvus and at the same time you know, that you can earn more points in FC and you don't know about them.
By the way, my tricks didn't work

No problem, it's just that I can't do anything for youmostwanted82 wrote:Oh, sorry for interchanging this, Hunch, I just thought...
Well, let's stick back to the original topic until they contact me again. I'm still in TOTL part 2, but I haven't played Rayman 2 in weeks. I should have more free time soon

Re: Rayman 3 Scores
I wish you many luck, with this, Hunch
I think Part 2 is a good place for playing Rayman 3 again, the combos there aren't too hard, particularly you've got a great score after Part 1.
Well, how I said, the extended version of the 3MC works more often now, but the last Matuvu...
Although I miss it sometimes only on milliseconds and although I already managed this bloody hard combo, it seems nearly impossible now.
I've got one question: How many gems on the funkyboard on the last track can I get without the combo doesn't take account of it?

Re: Rayman 3 Scores
I'm not sure, but I think you can take all but maybe two. It's a valid question but I haven't really investigated it.
I'm making some steady progress in part 2, in any case. The dwarf combo is working nicely, but that combo involving the three trampolines really isn't. It seems you need some glitch whereby a double bounce occurs instead of just one bounce. Pretty tough. And what makes this part even more excruciating is the fact you must listen to Murfy's babble every single time you make one mistake: arghh.

Re: Rayman 3 Scores
I suggest you open up a new game and try out this part without the risk of finishing it accidentally. I can't remember the number of gems you are able to take, but to the best of my recollection your combo should be around 400+ when you fall off.mostwanted82 wrote:I've got one question: How many gems on the funkyboard on the last track can I get without the combo doesn't take account of it?
No glitch is needed at the trampolines, but the timing is murder.Xenon wrote:I'm making some steady progress in part 2, in any case. Re: Rayman 3 Scores
You use a different approach to me, I've just seen in your video. I don't know why but I can't manage your way at all, jumping on the central trampoline in time to get the fifth yellow gem just seems impossible. I've turned to a glitch involving a double jump on the first trampoline, and this launches me higher and further so that I can get the sixth yellow gem at the last point. I can trigger this glitch once every five attempts or so, so it's hardly any better.
Re: Rayman 3 Scores
I didn't know you needed some kind of glitch for that combo? I can't remember doing that last time, but maybe the way I played it is outdated.
And haha, MandM does seem to have some boost in his jumps or something. He can do some stuff that no one else can do, somehow.

Yeah, I'm on steroidsJona wrote:And haha, MandM does seem to have some boost in his jumps or something. He can do some stuff that no one else can do, somehow.
Anyway, I think the jumps on the trampoline are the same on every platform. A "boosted" jump would ruin the combo for me. The combo is just plain difficult, that's it. I play and replay this combo many times to get it right when I play FC. There's no shortcut, one just has to wait for a bit of luck.

Re: Rayman 3 Scores
When I just would affirm that I would had 44.100 in FC, would you gimme the tricks you used?
I'm waiting for the final moment now. I think I'll play 3 hours in a row now until I get these damn combo working.

Re: Rayman 3 Scores
I promise you there are no tricks. All the points I got came from improving different combos, much like I improved the 3MC. Getting 100 points here and 80 points there really add up in FC. In the fulness of time I will write a complete walkthrough for FC, but for now I would encourage you to take a look at the combos you play and see if you can rearrange the objects in those combos.
How do you arrive at 44.100 points? Does that include the fourth Matuvu for 1.500 points in combo?

Re: Rayman 3 Scores
Yeah, I think this is the in the near of my personal maximum, too. In my last alleyway I left the Tribelle for 2.000 points and the fourth matuvu and I made some tiny mistakes, which let me lost 500 + 500 + 350-450 points, so I'm coming on 44.150.
And yeah, I meant with tricks your improved version of the existing combos. You must know, I could easily reach 43.600, but my target was to come this time over 44.000 and this creepy-bloody-fucking-cruel-stupid-damn-hard-matuvu-combo is necessary for this, particularly I don't know how you played
And Xenon, whether you believe it or not, I had more problems with the combo with the crab as with the Trampoline Combo.... It was not so hard to do for me

Re: Rayman 3 Scores
Ok, I can give you one of those "tricks", but look carefully at your other combos as well. I have improved the 3MC a little bit by interchanging some of the objects. Make sure you have ten objects before taking the red gem. It should give you some more points.
Re: Rayman 3 Scores
Mostwanted, do you also have tricks that I'm unaware of? I remember you speaking of a special combo in part 4 that could eradicate a few extra points. Or was this the one you mentioned earlier that didn't work?

Re: Rayman 3 Scores
@MandM: Oh, thank you very much for this!
I tried it out and it worked fine, but I think I will leave my extended version of the last Matuvu-Combo be, particurlarly it doesn't help to look up my own video and I should get 43.700 points without it. I will finish it when it worked, in a half hour, and then I will give my best to reach the highest possible score after Part 3 and explore the rooms for combos which can improved
@Xenon: See your post now
No, I haven't. How you said, I only mentioned that the combo with the 5 gems in the hollow doesn't work. Anyways, did you made any progress?
@Xenon: See your post now
Re: Rayman 3 Scores
Mostwanted: Happy to hear it worked out. It makes the 3MC a little bit more difficult, but it's worth the effort.
Re: Rayman 3 Scores
Nah, I'm still in part 2 but I haven't played for a couple of days. Murfy's prolonged, hellishly bothersome speech is knocking my confidence down, at the moment I'm lacking the motivation to play again.
Moreover, part 2 demands perfect gameplay and for so few points (just over 3000) it almost seems a waste of time. Last time I do remember entertaining myself by trying out a combo whereby the Matuvu could be taken for 1000 points though, but if I ever pulled it off it would definitely be the most intricate and hard combo in existence.

Re: Rayman 3 Scores
But then you could get >45.000 in FC
Well, I give you a tip: Play R3 in Spanish, Murfy's gibberish is shorter then because in Spanish words and sentences are shorter.
And the trampoline combo isn't as hard as it looks, the main important thing is, after taking the first gem on the trampoline, fly to the second trampoline, then break the helicopter and collect the second gem when you're falling on the second trampoline and then you have to fly in a certain angle to the 3rd gem and then just fall sidewards down and continue the combo.
