The You Game!

The diary? < has no diary. < explained ^ caught < out about lying. Lying down, that is.

< is in one big lying mood.

< has problems from time to time, but < still enjoys life through them. After all, without the downs, there can be no ups

< couldn't recommend London unless ^^ has family or friends there who would let you stay for free/low rent. Can ^^ see ^^ having the opportunity to move up north? (Your finances must be really tight, especially since Christmas and New Year happened...)

< did consider it. Around a year ago, < was informally offered a job with a lettings agent in Barnsley. < sorta lost contact with that person and now < is somewhat regretting it.

< wonders how ^ and ^^ feel about living in London. Cost is an issue though, as ^ mentioned.

Well < has to move there properly by April, but proximity to work is the main reason. < preferred living in Cambridge, since it's quieter and more picturesque, plus < doesn't care as much for things like clubbing as most others do.

London's fine though, if you don't mind the crowds and smells and noise etc. although price can certainly be an issue, < has no idea how < is going to find a flat by april. Hey Xenon wanna share a flat? :P

Honestly, <'s best job opportunities are here in London. And < absolutely loves everything about the place - the grime, the people, the mix of cultures, the white skies. But it is horrendously expensive, everything from rent to travel. Travel is actually cheaper than most English cities, but because London is so big we need to do a lot more of it than others. Plus, rich tycoons are buying up lots of land to the extent that precious living space is being allocated almost exclusively to that market. < is lucky to have been raised here and therefore have a guaranteed home if things go pear-shaped, as they have.

So that ^ and ^^ know for their flatmate adventures, the cheapest areas are in the southeast - < would recommend Charlton as a nice, safe place with a comparatively cheap cost of living.

Cambridge is an absolutely lovely city though.
