Re: Rayman 1
Plat? Do you mean flat?
Re: Rayman 1
No, sorry, I'd like to say dish.
Re: Rayman 1
I have some questions:
1) In which platforms is this game available?
2) Is Rayman 1 the same as Rayman Advance?

Re: Rayman 1
All right thanks, I will investigate for my second question
Re: Rayman 1
I've finished Rayman 1 on GBA, PS, and PC, and I can tell you that the GBA version is pretty much the same as the original (although the graphics aren't as good due to the console, of course); however, each platform has its changes with the game.... play it on PC, PS, and Jaguar, and you'll notice minor (or MAJOR) differences.
EDIT: Oh yeah, I did make those sprites, like Hunchman said. I uploaded others, they're elsewhere.

Re: Rayman 1
If you have Rayman Advance(which is the rayman 1 version for GBA) and have problems to beat the game, this is your lucky day! I found some codes that really work(I tested them)! Here are they:
Don't use continues when you die:
At the continue screen press Up, Down, then Right, then hold Left and press Start to resume your game and don't waste any continues
99 lives:
At any point pause the game and press Left, Right, Down, Right, Left and R to give yourself 99 lives
Replenish your health:
Pause the game and press L, Down, Left, Up, Down and R to replenish your health
I hope these codes help you

Re: Rayman 1
I can answer your second question
Rayman Advance is the same game as the PS version of Rayman 1, which is a little different from the PC version - for instance, the first map in the Bongo Hills; actually, almost the same game, because Rayman was given one more health point, and the screen was resized - bosses to.

All right thanks, by the way, I hope that my codes can help anyone of you

Re: Rayman 1
There are more codes, I will look for them ^^
Re: Rayman 1
Yeah, I think the altered the first stage of Bongo Hills in the PS/GBA/Quite possibly Dreamcast versions because of the ground sprites, they were only used in that one level and never appeared anywhere else throughout the game, so changing that level to something else lowered the size.

Re: Rayman 1
They were only used in the PC version, and I like this level... It is a a transition between the ground and Band Land!
Re: Rayman 1
Well, Rayman Advance is a good game

Re: Rayman 1
It is a great game, for it is Rayman 1
Re: Rayman 1
Aah, Rayman 1, the game that I found the hardest
I used quite a loooooong time before I chrushed Space Mama, both her and the worlds before that boss battle are particularly hard...
I'm just glad I've finished it a long time ago, now it's just to look forwards to RRR instead =D

Re: Rayman 1

The final world was a little easy after going through the rest of the game though...

Re: Rayman 1
Indeed, after Space Mama, it became a lot easier I think, the Cave of Scops weren't exactly difficult, not Scops either, and after that it was only Candy Chateau left, which was also easy.
The only world I used kinda long time on in Caves of Scops, were at Joe's when you're supposed to jump at those balls, and avoiding the annoying fishes and that. I often fell in the water, or got bitten by that bit teethed fish that jumps at you
