Re: Rayman Origins
I've been trying to get all the rest of the electoons now and boy oh boy Moody Clouds is no joke! The mosquito levels are so difficult for me! I managed to miss out on the 300 mark twice only by 7 on the final level. Thank goodness I'm playing the Wii version because aiming for those derpy medals would be a nightmare. I'm not sure how I'm going to be able to get time trial down for the two normal levels either.
Re: Rayman Origins
I can admit that the life system of Rayman 1 was cruel enough to make even the most serious players losing completely their minds. It did in my first attempt to beat Rayman 1 for PC, when I was 11 years old. But nowadays it is funny how I find the game easy.

I love all the Mosquito levels actually! and I'm close to getting the last character as well too.Sohzi wrote:I've been trying to get all the rest of the electoons now and boy oh boy Moody Clouds is no joke! Re: Rayman Origins
I agree with the scrapped Lives being a +1.
BUT THE YELLOW HITPOINTS! Funny how in this one screen from the E3 trailer you can already see 4 scrapped things.
1. The AWESOME health system
2. The equally AWESOME helicopter ability.
3. The AWESOME moving platform that you can blow around.
4. The Not-so awesome fish in JELLY WATER(I'm not even sure if this is scrapped but just included in case)
If they don't release some of this as DLC then Damn.....At least give us Tarayzan Ubi?

Re: Rayman Origins
I just wish we knew why they removed Tarayzan and Uglette. There had to be some kind of legitimate reason.

Nope, these are scrapped too.Raymancollecter wrote: 4. The Not-so awesome fish in JELLY WATER(I'm not even sure if this is scrapped but just included in case)
Wait, people still complaining about the absence of Uglette and Tarrayzan? guys, seriously, just get over itSabertooth1000000000 wrote:I just wish we knew why they removed Tarayzan and Uglette. There had to be some kind of legitimate reason.
I think it's better the way it is right now; I mean, a health bar would just make the game easier, while dying instantly gives us some good challenge!TeensieKing wrote:I guess I would have liked a health system pretty much like the R2 one

Re: Rayman Origins
I think that it would be nice if the developers shared with us the reason why so many of these ideas were scrapped, after which I'll never bring it up again. Sorry for being a whiny bitch.sergiomonty wrote: Wait, people still complaining about the absence of Uglette and Tarrayzan? guys, seriously, just get over it

Re: Rayman Origins
That's so frustrating! I keep missing out on Lum Medals by two pesky Lums... two!Sohzi wrote:I've been trying to get all the rest of the electoons now and boy oh boy Moody Clouds is no joke! Re: Rayman Origins
But the satisfaction of having every Time Trial trophies, Electoons and Lum Medals is really something to try for!
Re: Rayman Origins
The worst is to collect every Lum Medals alone, especially in the Moskito levels, which are the hardest to get alone. Riding the Storm was my biggest headache: I got a Lums Medal alone with 353 Lums in the PS3 version.

Re: Rayman Origins
We complain because it would have been awesome to see Tarayzan and Uglette! C'mon,Uglette was an EPIC character in R2,and contributed a lot to give the game a better feeling and preserve the magical and love atmosphere!sergiomonty wrote:Wait, people still complaining about the absence of Uglette and Tarrayzan? guys, seriously, just get over itSabertooth1000000000 wrote:I just wish we knew why they removed Tarayzan and Uglette. And I think it would be great a health system because you would start the level from the start (lol redundant)

Re: Rayman Origins
In your opinions... What was the hardest or trickiest Land of the living dead treasure to get? I thought Moody Clouds one was the hardest one for me..
Re: Rayman Origins
The Moody Clouds one was one of the easiest for me in my opinion.
For me the hardest Tricky Treasures are definitely the ones from Luscious Lakes and Angsty Abyss.

Re: Rayman Origins
Really? I thought the water places were the easiest. But they were all fun at the same time though! haha

Re: Rayman Origins
The one at the Angsty Abyss. It's long as fuck.
The Moody Clouds level was easy because we already knew how to beat it, it appeared on the E3 demo

Re: Rayman Origins
I thought it was the Mystic Peaks one that was shown at E3. Or am I getting confused somewhere along the line?sergiomonty wrote: The Moody Clouds level was easy because we already knew how to beat it, it appeared on the E3 demo

Re: Rayman Origins
I also thought Mystic Pique was the level shown at E3. Nonetheless, I found Moody Clouds to be quite hard.
