It was a dark and stormy night. Purple-skied and black-leafed were the dreams of the people of Sarf London, their souls peaceful amidst the futile onslaught of nature against man. All, except one.

For the deep nothing of sleep had not come to her. Instead it tormented her from afar with cruel whispers of what she could not have, not tonight, for her half-thoughts were let loose and would not be reined in so easily. She tossed and turned and sobbed and was silent and tried to find the cold part of the bed and stuck one leg out for reasons only evolutionary psychologists dare pretend to know.

And there, in her midnight delirium...

Thankfully it turns out only one person (Milly) seems to have suspected my death, so that turgid short story - which is pretty much true - is totally pointless. But I figured I might just say hi since I blippled off the board some while ago and, according to the search function, a few of the older ones have shown worry about what exactly happened. Also it is Halloween and SPOOPY GHOSTS POSTING FROM BEYOND WOooOOOooo

For those who knew me: I’m still collapsing - not seizures as far as we can tell, don’t worry - with all the many issues that brings with it. I’ve also been trying to get a grip on my long-term depression/anxiety/etc., which combined with the above is why I left the rest of the community. There was and is a lot to deal with and, well, I managed to become literally terrified by the internet and particularly IRCs (god everyone types so fast how do I even). I just didn’t want to be a bother to anyone.
Bad news is not a lot’s changed, good news is a little has. Progress!

But all the comparative newbies need to know is that I am most certainly one of the living and not in any way a long-gone member of the board resurrected from internet death through fell Samhain sorcery. I’m probably no fun anymore and I’ve missed a lot of shit - so I shan’t guarantee that I’m back bitches. None of you are bitches anyhow, you guys were always decent and I love you all mwah~

Whoa, Jewish Candy. I don't think we've ever spoken to each other, but I remember you from my time as a lurker. Even if you're not back proper, it's nice to meet you.
