Like Rayman 3 has a lot darker story, but it is outweighed by all the silly jokes which the R2 devs forgot about when creating their “perfect” game

When I see goofy characters like rabbids or minions, I don't expect any thought put into atmosphere but from that description it sounds like some attempt was made in that direction.

I'm curious, would it be an unpopular opinion that the next Rayman game should be a spin-off starring pirate henchmen? I think they would be fun to play as
