Re: Rayman Raving Rabbids
Don't know, really.
Anyway, today's RRR-TVP release. We all know about its similarities to RRR, but if somebody buys it, please compare it with TVP.

I bought it. When it came out. A week ago.stan423321 wrote:Don't know, really.

RRR1 was more inventive and had a greater variety of tasks. RRRTP is almost on its level Single Player wise, but also boasts much better multiplayer.
Re: Rayman Raving Rabbids
What about graphics-wise?
Re: Rayman Raving Rabbids
Well, not much has changed in terms of graphics quality from Rayman Raving Rabbids 1.
Re: Rayman Raving Rabbids
Ok then, pretty bad.
What about, is it on Earth or in Rayman's world?

Re: Rayman Raving Rabbids
Its better than RRR1 on a technical level although perhaps not by much. Its kind of hard to judge. The game has its own graphical style different than the Rayman series (and past two rabbid games for that matter) that is much more cartoony, so the game has simpler textures and the characters have a shading style kind of akin to Mario Sunshine's to give the game a look reminiscent of the 2d animations in the game.Acarr wrote:What about graphics-wise?
The animations are much more fluid for the rabbids than they were in the past two games, and they have much more detailed models. The world they appear in though hasn't really improved much from the past games with some key exceptions (the space and wildebeest minigames are visual treats).
The 2d segments however are hands down the most impressive part of the game's graphics. Its animation is better than most newer cartoons, and perhaps the best 2d animation in a wii game (the only other two that comes to mind are WarioWare and Crash Mind over Mutant)
It doesn't say, and the game gives no clear distinction. On one hand, Rayman has pictures of him on a walking shell in his house. On the other hand at the very end he's watching American football. It doesn't help he's apparently living in the middle of nowhere.Acarr wrote:What about, is it on Earth or in Rayman's world?

Re: Rayman Raving Rabbids
How often is Rayman actually seen in the game? Aside from the introduction.
I read some responses on gonintendo.com and a LOT of people are apparently getting very pissed off about the lack of Rayman now. At first these people didn't mind, but now they're getting downright annoyed!

Re: Rayman Raving Rabbids
Barring a randomly occuring cameo in the Rabbidass minigame, Rayman appears in EVERY quick cutscene unlocked with each 5 minigames you beat (every 5 minigames unlocks the next day, going to the next day initiates the cutscene).
EDIT- This video tour was posted earlier this week. Tonight was my first time seeing it
I think Miss Fit's 15000 score might only be possible with the balance board. The Hold Still detection with just the wii-mote and nunchuck is awful (I got it to work once), and I never have enough points despite doing all of the other exercises perfectly (I always get in the 13000-14000 range). This guy does an average performance and comes out with around 17000 points.

Re: Rayman Raving Rabbids
I almost wanna borrow the game just so I can have a clearer image of the cutscenes to be honest. Poor Rayman. No matter how hard he tries, he just can't escape.
What bugs me is he has a TV...but...no lamps or anything in his house...no lighting to speak of....
I really hope this is the end of the Rabbids series....just admitting that I'll play it just for the cutscenes makes me sick. DX

Re: Rayman Raving Rabbids
I don't like how he's running away from about 4 rabbids at the beginning, whilst he can take down a whole army of killer robot-pirates with guns.
Agreed. D8just admitting that I'll play it just for the cutscenes makes me sick. DX

Re: Rayman Raving Rabbids
I've seen the cover for RRRTVP, and it really sucks.
Re: Rayman Raving Rabbids

Re: Rayman Raving Rabbids
Rayman could OWN the rabbids any day. And yet, he is running away from them in TVP. I wonder why. Maybe it's written in the manual.
Re: Rayman Raving Rabbids
I'm no longer confused about the TV part anymore, I just watched this:

Re: Polukus Raving Rabbids
You know what i've been thinking about? In the intro of TVP, there are these lightenings. Could that have anything to do with Polukus?
Re: Rayman Raving Rabbids
Define TVP please

Really... bad... GAME...

Thats my favorite too.Joshua822 wrote:Yeah, i found that the RRR1 cover was the bestI've seen the cover for RRRTVP, and it really sucks.

I'm also fond of the US cover for RRR2 because of all of the stuff going on. Theres a run-over rabbid, Rayman looking like he's stealthily hunting the rabbids, and Sergueï acting like King Kong in the background.
TV Video Party of course!Acarr wrote:Define TVP please

Oh I see, so now El Dango's quote makes sense...
It must do...8o There's no storm...El Dango wrote:You know what i've been thinking about? In the intro of TVP, there are these lightenings. Could that have anything to do with Polukus?
