Nothing on Word. Perhaps it's a really old English word.

Hmm, is there a one-word French translation for "annoying little bugger who sits around in crazy locations making it difficult for anyone whose controller buttons aren't working properly"? :mrgreen:
 
I meant that it's used in both French and English to describe the creature, but it's obviously not an English word ^^ It's actually the phonetic transliteration of the French word m'as-tu-vu, which can be translated into show-off.

I don't know just a guess, but Matyuv isn't from an English originated country so I don't know..

good question actually...I still have problems SPELLING it in my fanfictions D8
 
I didn't really think about the pronounciation when I was making up the username.

So I guess Kelvin got it right.
