Re: Rayman Origins
Kthx, I'd rather have an Rayman Origins Level Designer DLC or something like that. Just like Super Meat World in SMB.
Re: Rayman Origins
What if RO2 would feature a level editor?

Re: Rayman Origins
Exactly what I was thinking about. Super Meat World is a free update to Super Meat Boy which has a level editor and level portal, where you can upload your levels, chapters and download maps made by other users.
If Rayman Origins had an editor like this, the community would create tons of levels, so the fun never ends

Re: Rayman Origins
I would love to see a level editor in the sequel, that would make me starting to imagine levels that I could build. That reminds me I should try to create more Rayman Designer levels.
I also have the feeling RO2 will be a Wii U release title.

I loved RO. Why does everyone else suddenly hate it?

Because it's not Rayman 4.

You've gotta love how this is being announced before the original is even released on 3DS.

I still don't understand why Rayman Origins isn't considered "Rayman 4". It's a major entry into the series and even continues the plot, albeit badly.Cairnie wrote:Because it's not Rayman 4.

I've only seen one person mention 'hating' the game so far.Greenbottle3 wrote:I loved RO. Why does everyone else suddenly hate it?

A 3D platformer will come when the time comes. These take time to do, you know?

Look, this is one of the reasons why the "fans" are more annoying than the critics. How so? None of us (aside from buildersith) have said we hate or even dislike the game, we've just been completely honest with our thoughts toward it. This notion of everyone "HATING THE GAME" has completely come out of nowhere, has been completely blown out of proportion and is for some reason looked down upon, when the people who loved it didn't even read the arguments to see what we had to say, or, even worse, taking one person's hatred and applying it to everyone.Greenbottle3 wrote:I loved RO. Get a grip. We don't hate the game, many of us were just a bit let down by what it turned out to be.

Re: Rayman Origins
EDIT: Why does everybody dislike some aspects of the game?

I am surprised by your cool restraint. Quite a U-turn from your behaviour at the beginning of this thread...Sabertooth1000000000 wrote:April Fool's Joke?
Hahaha, no, it's not funny enough. I hope this one has a plot.
Are you joking, or do you really think that game publishers make all of their major decisions based on meaningless patterns that were unintentionally created by developers over the decades? This reminds of how the Pokémon fans freaked out when Nintendo ‘broke the pattern’ by not releasing Black and White on a new handheld, and then again by announcing Black 2 and White 2 rather than Grey. Of course, there never was a pattern in the first place.Sabertooth1000000000 wrote:Hey, I think I'm noticing a pattern!
Rayman
Rayman 2
Rayman 3
Rayman Raving Rabbids
Rayman Raving Rabbids 2
Rayman Raving Rabbids TV Party
Rayman Origins
Rayman Origins 2
<unspecified but likely third game>
Everybody dislikes some aspects of everything. This is nothing new.Greenbottle3 wrote:EDIT: Why does everybody dislike some aspects of the game?

I've grown up a lot since then. I'm not dumb enough to make that mistake a second time.spiraldoor wrote:I am surprised by your cool restraint. Quite a U-turn from your behaviour at the beginning of this thread...
What? No, of course it wasn't intentional. It's a coincidence. I'm just pointing it out.spiraldoor wrote: Are you joking, or do you really think that game publishers make all of their major decisions based on meaningless patterns that were unintentionally created by developers over the decades? And Go Home. Rayman's not in those, so they don't count.

Go Home wasn't a party game, so I don't really count that.Sabertooth1000000000 wrote:And Go Home. Rayman's not in those, so they don't count.
