Re: Rayman himself
Well, in my case it works other way - if we receive books now (which happened), this actually means there are 2 or 4 books for 3 years and so they're needed now. I think the program for 2009/2010 is already finished.
In case of my school's organisation... this is off-topic.
Back-to-it: What do you think what would change in basic Rayman's appearance in the, err, next solid game?

He should have ears.

Re: Rayman himself
There used to be a big debate among games magazine editors about whether Rayman's hair was either ears or hair. Everyone knows it's hair now, but back in the Rayman 2 days everyone thought it was a pair of floppy ears.
Sometimes I wonder where exactly Rayman's ears are, and how he can hear, but then again loads of cartoon characters and even real animals can hear without visible ears.

Re: Rayman himself
I have found a so-called compromise - these are hairy ears.
Re: Rayman himself
He doesn't appear to have visible nostrils either, but it seems likely that they're inbuilt, like fish. I suppose you could then argue how it is impossible to breathe with no neck, so bah.
We can conclude that Rayman's anatomy is complex

Re: Rayman himself
It must be hell for a limbless being to have stuff done like blood tests, tattoos and pretty much everything that needs an arm and leg.
Re: Rayman himself
Do the limbless even have blood? XD
Re: Rayman himself
He could still get his temperature taken.StaceyW wrote:It must be hell for a limbless being to have stuff done like blood tests, tattoos and pretty much everything that needs an arm and leg.

Re: Rayman himself
You know my "four dimensional theory of Rayman etc.", right?
Re: Rayman himself
I think Rayman's respiratory system is totally different to human beings'. I also think his digestion works differently. Perhaps it all goes on in his head, which would explain his abnormally large nose.

Re: Rayman himself
Oh god I'm being reminded of my fanfiction days...
Anyway well Rayman does seem to breathe and needs oxygen from the Blue Lums when underwater otherwise he'll drown, but I noticed that in some games [most notably RRR on the GBA] he pants quite a bit like he's tired. Too much exercise isn't that good for you.

Re: Rayman himself
He's constantly tired in RRR GBA...
Re: Rayman himself
He doesn't need air bubbles or Blue Lums in Rayman 3. He somehow manages to stay alive despite being underwater for 5+ minutes in TLOTLD.

Re: Rayman himself
But he was in land of dead! So he couldn't die for natural reasons, only by being killed!
Re: Rayman himself
But he never dies!

Re: Rayman himself
Oh yes, but why would he need blue lums in other areas?

Re: Rayman himself
Videogame characters only die when you make them die by accident in a game. Sometimes I wonder if game characters think about their lives being in someone's hands.
Re: Rayman himself
That would actually suck.

Re: Rayman himself
It's actually there in one Polish game. "Hey, man, stop injuring me! I know they said you'd play it better than me, but even a ROAST BEEF would be better than you!".
