That's not quite how it works. You need to skip two if you get three in succession. I see what you quoted, but look at what follows:
In the interest of fairness, an additional rule is that players are only permitted to answer two questions in succession. Once two have been answered, the player must then skip the following question. He will be able to rejoin after this. Alternatively, the player can choose to skip 1 question if he answers the preceding question correctly. Why was this rule devised? Simply to prevent victors from winning through activity alone. This rule is sometimes quite difficult to follow so please ask the quizmaster for assistance if you are confused.

Note how the rule is supposed to stop people from winning just by showing their face two seconds after the quiz host asks a question. It's not supposed to stop people from guessing at answers.
Why would you be able to opt to skip one question after getting one point? So you don't have to skip one once you get two, not so you don't have to skip one once you try at two.

But please, point out my mistake and correct me if I'm wrong.

You could be right, I don't know, I never really completely understood that rule :P
 
It used to be "Get three points, skip two next questions." but it changed into "Get two points, skip one question." - I think the wording may require some attention or my memory needs a fix.
 
Pretty much that, two consecutive points, skip one. I'll make sure that statement is made more clear on OP.

Emshomar has three points if I remember correctly : you have 8 points there while you asked 9 questions :P.

I like how you're basically giving every time zone around the world a chance with these random intervals, but at the same time, it's a bit annoying not knowing when the next question will be. x)
 
Question 10: In Rayman Legends, what is the maximum amount of lums you can collect from the creatures every day?
 
Ah shiet...
it's not far away from that number, though...I probably messed up with the two creatures in the middle, I didn't remember if they had either one purple lum/one coin or just 2 purple lums.
