Ah, so it's built-in. < was obviously thinking of the bad old days, when there were different editions for different languages, with extra Slapdashes and the like!
< was trying to find out how to change the language and stumbled across an older post on another forum by RayCarrot that said you can change it with steam. Apparently in the non steam version you have to reinstall Origins to change it, but < assumes there's a registry setting.
