That’s what I’m using. You just need to run the Track 01.bin file like you would any PS1 disc image. This particular game takes a while to load for some reason.Haruka said:Electoon said:(...) Any tips on what to do/what emulator to use?
Use ePSXe 1.7.0..

The black screen is normal. For me it goes to the language-selection screen after about ten seconds of blackness.Electoon said:Just tried this and got more possitive results...litterally the colour black. I don't know if this was the game attempting to load or just nothing but explorer crashed and I had to close the emmulator before I could continue![]()
Is the black screen to be expected?

I know Electoon has got the game working in the PSX emulator, but for anyone who would like to play it in ePSXe, try these video plugin settings:Haruka said:Electoon said:10 seconds? I waited 10 minutes and nothing happened. Maybe I'm just using a slow computer...
Try to reconfigure the Graphic Plugin then, perhaps the problem is in there.

I was going to make pretty much the same video, but I couldn’t be bothered fiddling about with FRAPS until it decided to start working for me, and I was having difficulty understanding what the hell I was supposed to do in the next level (the one after the level shown in your video), so I just uploaded the game and wrote a description with some screenshots instead.Electoon said:Just posted a Youtube video with the intro and some gameplay to this version of the game, as it is surprisingly different! I also make some comments and random observations in the form of optional annotations. It can be seen here:
Is it possible that the PS1 version of English with Rayman is titled ‘Rayman Junior’? That would explain the apparent discrepancy with the filename.Drolpiraat said:Well this is definitely English with Rayman, not Rayman Junior. If anyone wants the same game for PC or a similar one to learn French, I got those in Dutch.
They probably made the mistake of calling it Rayman Junior because that is also called "Maths and English with Rayman". This is definitely just English with Rayman though. I had no idea it also existed on PS1.
