Sonic X Shadow Generations - Title Theme
A surprisingly great title screen theme, if I do say so myself. They even worked a bit of "I Am... All of Me" in there!

Yeah, the desert boggles the mind. I was willing to give it a chance because I didn't want to be prejudicial, and we've already had a slight unconventional means of connecting areas what with the gunship in Prime 3. But the desert is just really dull. It's not bad or horrible to trek through (if anything I actually like how the motorcycle controls), but it's just...there.

I do really like Agon Wastes at least, it's very atmospheric and matches the game's tone perfectly! Meanwhile the ambiance in the MP4 (not the file format) desert perfectly captures the crushing sense of V O I D you get while traversing it. :P :hap:

At least the MP3 (still not a file format) gunship was basically Metroid's take on Ratchet & Clank's planet transitions for the most part and it didn't felt out of place in such a sci-fi universe, even if a downgrade after the first two games... But the desert and the motorcycle, however... what are they even doing here? Who decided this, and why?... :? :paranormal:
I would joke about the guy being also responsible for the BotW motorcycle, but clearly, whoever at Nintendo decided that didn't understand at all why it actually worked in a game like Breath of the Wild (or Mario Kart 8 )! :mefiant:

I discovered that fact quite late as I originally skipped the title theme due to not liking the first notes, but it was a very pleasant surprise! Just strange they didn't use more of the I Am leitmotif quite a bit more in the game as it's still one of Shadow's most recognizable themes, even if the lyrics aren't much relevant to his character anymore... But hey, ultimately the soundtrack is fantastic, so... It Doesn't Matter! :winkgrin: :fou2:

Agreed; they used All Hail Shadow a lot in the soundtrack (Shadow's White Space, its Challenges, and during the Neo Devil Doom fight, for example), but surely they could have fit in Shadow the Hedgehog's main theme at other points, right?

But hey, at least the composers used it in the title screen rather than deciding to Throw It All Away! :hehe:

Between this, Shadow's White Space theme in Sonic's story, and the cutscene at the end of the Tokyo DLC level, it's crazy that even his SA2 theme (which I don't really like after the opening segment, which is actually the only part of the song that gets used for remixes :lol:) gets more love here than I Am... All of Me! :confus:

Yet another vaporwave, back in the past in year 1998. Rumor say that is September and October is indeed which is Fall Season.

December is getting end soon in 2025, hence why it goes straight Christmas.
 
Destiny 2, Shell of What Was I - Michael Salvatori, Skye Lewin, Rotem Moav, and Pieter Schlosser

Destiny's soundtracks in general are pretty good, but Shell of What Was is one of the ones in particular that has just grafted itself into my psyche since i first heard it.

This, another Vaporwave stuff. and yet including Chillwave and Dreamwave.
Rumor say that was during night time but before it's New Year 2000, that is on December 31, 1999.

One of the segment since the house was firing. Too bad but it's good I've listened more Lost Sounds playlist.
