On-rey sounds less amusing. i forgot frenchies don't use the 'h' sound. why do they even have that letter anyway? makes no sense to me.

I suppose they use it to follow another noun such as 'C'. It would be needed there.

We sort of do. It does actually cancel liaisons (you must have studied French to know about it).
 
Oh yeah, I've been hearing that word a lot recently. What does liaisons translate to?
