Re: General Pokémon Thread
It was a game that was hinted at a while back (looking at serebii it seems to be a well while back : http://serebii.net/detective/pics.shtml ) and has now made it's way into the light. Not sure what to make of it since it doesn't seem to show of much gameplay.
Re: General Pokémon Thread
Oh I remember when those screenshots appeared in 2013 I was pretty curious but almost forgot about it.
Re: General Pokémon Thread
Japan at its best, that's the impression I have so far
.
It seems there's already a 7th Generation confirmed?

Re: General Pokémon Thread
Which reminds me, is anyone here going to buy the VC ports? I will grab the Blue version as I own it physically aswell.
Re: General Pokémon Thread
I'll be picking up Pokemon Yellow.

Re: General Pokémon Thread
The European price of the VC games got revealed: 9,99€. Cheaper than what I expected!
Re: General Pokémon Thread
Yeah, they're gonna be priced at $9.99 over here.
Re: General Pokémon Thread
I think they originally said it would cost 15 so I got surprised. I will still have balance left so I think I will get a new eShop card to get other stuff.

Re: General Pokémon Thread
I got myself Super Mystery Dungeon (which was released yesterday in Europe for those wondering). It's been really nice so far, it started similary to the other titles but it seems to be progressing on a bit differently so it doesn't feel that same-ish at all.
Re: General Pokémon Thread
Mystery Dungeon does not hook me, though. I tried it before but got bored pretty fast. I'll stick to the classical games.

Re: General Pokémon Thread
Hmm, come to think of it, I might have played a Mystery Dungeon title before I played a main series one.

Re: General Pokémon Thread
I have to say the game style is particulary slow & long especially when compared to main series games. With this title being noticably harder than the previous ones I doubt it'd change your mind on the series.Haruka wrote:Mystery Dungeon does not hook me, though. Still enjoying it myself regardless of how much i'm dying in the early points of the game.

Re: General Pokémon Thread
I literally just picked up Super Mystery Dungeon from the store can't wait to play it when I get home.
Re: General Pokémon Thread
The Mystery Dungeon games never really appealed to me much for some reason, I remember owning the original one but only my brother really cared for it. I honestly don't even remember what you do in those games other than that you play as a Pokemon, would you guys consider them actual big new Pokemon games or more just "until the real thing" titles?

Re: General Pokémon Thread
I am actually more hyped for Mystery Dungeon games than the main title ones.
The Mystery Dungeon series' story are some of the few game stories that truly hit me every time.
(I've cried over mystery Dungeon games more than I'd like to admit)

Re: General Pokémon Thread
Out of all the Pokemon spin off titles in the series Mystery Dungeon is certianly the most well loved for pretty much the exact reason Ikke just said. They are most certianly of quality to be considered "big" games, only real possible downside is the gameplay which as some people here have said is not for them, but the first games (which were on GBA as well as DS) are easy to ROM if you want to see for yourself if it's something you'd get into. I wouldn't recomend the newest one for new comers since it is much harder, and the other 3DS title is considered the worst one of the titles.Keane wrote:The Mystery Dungeon games never really appealed to me much for some reason, I remember owning the original one but only my brother really cared for it. It looks really sexy but I have no Wii U and no real plans to soon as much as I would like one.Bradandez wrote:Anyone getting Pokken Tournament?
