It is in my opinion, one of the first games to come close to a experience similar to a console game. Though, the music is greatly disappointing.
 
What about super mario 3D land it makes me think of: super mario bros 3 + super mario galaxy

I haven't played much of it yet. I'm still making my way trough Ocarina of Time and Mario Kart 7. Though, what I have played reminded me of Super Mario Galaxy, a lot like Super Mario Galaxy. Though, it doesn't reach that level for me, as the Galaxy games are in my opinion, the best Mario games to date.
 
The only thing that frustrates me is the final level (unluck by getting all star coins, all gold flags, unlocking the special world, finnish all levels with mario and finish all levels with luigi) it's harder then the land of the livid dead in rayman origins....
 
I wasn't aware they were a "final level" oO I tought I finished the game at 100%. I have every star coins, I'm sure I completed every levels with Mario and Luigi, etc. But I didnd't unlock anything.
EDIT: Arf, I checked my 3DS, i'm still missing a few gold flags :B

Nothing really interesting, besides it having DLC, but there is a section regarding a mysterious "Nintendo Network"
Could it be?
After 10 years since Xbox Live was first made, Nintendo may have wised up in the online gaming department.
I know it's just rumour, but what if Nintendo really are planning a service like PSN and XBL?

And for the people who do not own mario kart 7 on the 3ds, it's never too late to have second thoughts. And hopefully the official Rayman PC group will perhaps change your mind :)
