Rayman Remixes and Mixes (last updated: March 21, 2014)

In case of Chasing a Dream nothing will beat up this:

Here we got big ones. Faithful remakes of Rayman 2 OST, using original samples taken from appropriate sources.

The first by Lorenzo, on purpose of the "Rayman 2 HD" WIP remake on Unreal Engine:
By Robin, also our befriended specialist on Rayman stuff. As R2HD team says, currently he also cooperates on the project.

Great job guys!

I didn't know Robin did remixes! :o These both sound very nice, and definitely capture the feeling of the original Rayman 2. I'm a bit concerned that the Crow's Nest one seems to remind me of other, more natural, environments of the game in places, while we're supposed to be in the very heart of the Pirate Machinery for the final showdown. Still sounds really good though!

These are great! Also, I didn't know that Robin did remixes either, that's awesome in itself! :)

That second one's pretty cool! It's fresh enough that it actually took me a moment to recognize each tune as it was introduced in the medley!

Really good stuff! I like the depth added in the second one, and the 8-bit version is really faithful to the original. But wait, that's just the MIDI soundtrack from the Nintendo 64 version? :noel:

I guess this is a mix (don't know the exact term) of the overworld theme:

I wonder if this should be added in the Rayman in popular culture article, since it was used by a big channel in YouTube.

Absolutely amazing. Return of the boom bap!
That's what I like.
How did you find that gem? If you find more music on Rayman samples please post!

Wow, the first one has a bit where the sound is going back and forth between the two stereo channels… it makes me think of one of the crabs walking back and forth, perhaps just behind me…

The second one reminds me of the Battling Seizure Robots theme :fou:
