Is anyone here familiar with the Good Old Games site? It's a digital distribution service sort of like Steam, but it focuses on older titles, and doesn't require you to install any special software, and is completely DRM-free. Well, I like it.
Edit: I forgot that this wasn't the Off Topic thread. But it's mainly used as a second one anyway, so I guess that doesn't matter.

Yes they do. I only really started paying attention to them when they signed Activision like three days ago.
They signed Ubisoft last year, so BG&E is already up there (no sign of Rayman yet, but it's probably only a matter of time).

Lack of extra download programs is always a good idea, even if it's in-browser plug-ins or whatever. These days, it seems like every company wants their own store. Though, I still back Steam with my money sometimes, but I've been on that field since 2005/2006-ish.

We should create a subforum called “Crap”, and move every single locked thread there. That way we wouldn't have to wade through useless locked threads every time we look at any of the forums, unless we actually want to. Except for porn and advertisements; those should just be deleted outright.
