Anyway, this is at least not the BS level of "Rayman the cute rabbit" at almost every RRR description in Poland for some time. Murfy really looks like a flying frog. I mean, he has Globox like face, except not so rude and casual, and flies. And he's bright green for great justice.

EDIT: When thinking about porting RL, I still thought about a separate player controlling Murfy. With single-player mode including some kind of "communication with AI", by which I mean very simple commands: "Stay still for a moment!", "Dash now!", "Prepare for unforeseen consequences!" etc. These are bound to not happen, by the way.

What a disappointment. Here's a good thing: it opens chances of later ports being released.

No it doesn't... the big deals doesn't come with poor sells, but with the big amount of Murphy levels that the game includes. If you got a port, a lot of levels would be scrapped, I guess...

By the way:

Isn't this new screenshot gorgeous?

Wow, the picture is very vivid then much of the other stuff I saw for Legends, I'd hope the enviornments for some of the levels in the game certainly look like this.

It's all the matter of resolution and brightness adjustment. So yes, I believe it can look like this if you want to.

And the question on percentage on Murfy levels/segments is really the key to the thing. I mean, some of you were talking like it would be 70%, and I would personally estimate it to be 25-45%

Most likely, yes, but I speculate more of a 10-30%
The way how Emile corrects himself during the interview is so abrupt that he probably was thinking "oh god, what have I said, of course the game is not about murphy, that would suck, better I say something different" "ehm... ok not half of the game but at least good portion" "Phew, that was close, I guess this will calm them down".

Little did he know that the media was so dumb and rageful...

Although I think you're right about those levels being not-Murfied in single-player mode, they could for example turn off slaps during beats

Yeah, they're probably doing that, that's why during the E3 conference I was surprised to see that the players didn't slap each other during the Rocking Grannies level, but still, there are tons of levels that would work better with Murphy.

On a different note, I don't know if you knew this, but according to Michael Micholic, every world of Rayman Legends will tell a different story, and the only story they're showing this year is the medieval one. Expect more landscapes! like the Greek one!

Sorry to just jump in here, but... What have I missed? I remember the announcement of this game, and saw a short movie that made it seem like another speedrush a la Origins, but... How's the game? Any information? I realise it hasn't been released yet, but...

A lot of info. It's basically exactly what you described, but with slightly nicer graphics and a largely worse soundtrack.

I won, because I shared my better opinion faster.

I understanded the Murfy info wrong. I thought that there would be less only Murfy levels and i didnt exactly get what was terrible news. I knew that there would be some Murfy only levels but it seems they have a bigger role than they should. Misunderstanding again because of my bad English.

Now that i know the info the right way ill tell what i think about that.
BAD IDEA! The idea of making a Wii U exclusive that would be compatible for other systems too would be good, but a Wii U exclusive only, no. The idea in which the exclusivity is based on (Murfy manipulating) is not even good. It would work for few parts. The idea of tapping one screen and not be able to control the heroes (Rayman, Globox, Barbara) themselves, but only watching them is stupid. Im disappointed.

You can cry while I hug you, bro.

Well part of the game's levels consisting of you playing as Murphy and part of the levels as Rayman and Co. could be a good and bad thing, it just depends on what particular levels they choose to alternate characters on. If not done right, a challenging platforming stage could turn in to a rather boring and quite easy affair. A good formula to use when employing this mechanic could be Rayman and Murphy take turns within the stages with a section consisting of platforming as Rayman and puzzle solving gameplay as Murphy, and if needed perhaps if done to the right amount perhaps a few Rayman or Murphy only stages. Maybe they'll surprise us!

Has anyone played Jungle Run yet? If so, any good? Last I checked it wasn't yet on the Android store. Unless Google start releasing Google Play cards I probably won't buy it anyway.
