Of course we can think rabbids will use flying saucers, but keywords like Ly could just be here to drive people looking for information about Ly to the Rayman 4 website...
French Video source: http://gonintendo.com/?p=3464Rayman first started on PS1. Michel acts as if scared a little and they talk about the evil bunnies in Rayman 4 and how he doesn’t really wanna talk about it. The interviewer says Rayman has no members (arms and legs) and Michel interrups him saying that he does have one . Michel says it started with a drawing he made on the corner of the table, then put it on the computer, animated it with the mouse, then programmed a few animations and movements. So the game started with only him, but then people joined him into making the game and the team actually reached 100 because they had to rush to make the deadline and they had a lot of testers.
The interviewer asks about the critics of King Kong that came out on the various platforms and Michel is quick to answer he didn’t work on the PSP version, only the PS2, Gamecube and Xbox.
Then they talk about Rayman 4 and the Wii, with Michel saying you have a lot more freedom, you don’t have to search as much for buttons, you simply move the controller. He likes the fact that it has a physical aspect to it and instead of memorizing buttons, you memorize movements. It also let’s you live action scenes as if you were really there.
The interviewer asks for an exclusive about the story of Rayman 4. Michel says it’ll end badly. Also Rayman will fall in love, there’s actually a love story in the game. Michel says it’s hard not to laugh when talking about the game because the whole thing is funny and silly. André, an enemy from Rayman 3 will be back, will collaborate with Rayman, but it might be a forced collaboration, it won’t be easy because they don’t agree with each other or see eye to eye, but you never know, they could become best buddies.
The interviewer talks about how Beyond Good & Evil was critically acclaimed and asks for the fans if we can expect a sequel. Michel takes a somewhat deep breath before saying: “Suspense (I think, I can’t hear it clearly)”.
