Why would a wanted poster of the Xowar still exist if Kaag has already captured him? Maybe if the wanted poster was crossed with an X, but it seems that the hoodlums where still looking for the Xowar before Rayman defeated Kaag.
Wasn't the Xowar originally supposed to be the boss of Clearleaf Forest? Those posters are just leftovers then. As for the secret room in the Tower of the Leptys, it's just a nice way the developers found of incorporating the models of otherwise completely scrapped creatures.
is there any Xowar concept art I couldn't find any?

Agreed, I brought this up again because in the image from the first post there is an entry named "Free Kaag's prisioners" (which also shows up in one of the iceberg images), and I was wondering if there was any theory about it that I didn't know about.

Also, I wonder if the "Globox is racist/Offensive Globox" thing was something that was actually discussed in forums back in the day, or if it was something that was added by the maker of the image.

A bit like the conveyor belts near the end of Half-Life 2 then… Except behind a scorewall, so it's a nice little bonus for doing well in the last few levels. I guess it's like a mini bonus "making-of", in the same vein as some of the goodies that were originally offered in the Lums Race (if I recall correctly).

It certainly sounds like something that might have been discussed somewhere on the internet, but I'm 99% sure it never made it as far as this site…

I think it's all in the Xowar article on RayWiki.

Just like PluM, I have no recollection of such a discussion taking place on the forum. I only remember the controversy around Picture City pirates (blueism at its worst :hap:) and, to a lesser extent, the debate spurred by Wild, Wild East ninjas (which ironically saw the accusation side utter some deeply xenophonic generalisations against the French ).

Ok makes sense now that I think about it most rayman creatures don't have any definite gender :|

That reminds me of the absurd claim made for years on the English wiki that all Electoons are female!

It was so weird, I was just trying to highlight the groundlessness of the single-sex population claim (albeit in a roundabout way) and next thing I was accused of theorizing lesbian electoons! :confus:

It took a long time to fix, but you eventually got that false assertion removed!

That's his "age" in the real world, since the first game came out in 1995. Actually his 27th "birthday" isn't until next Thursday though…

There is something interesting. I think I'm not the first person who's ever brought this up, but anyways: With the thousandth lum secret, there are 1,001 lums. It's not just the same lum which reappeared there. There is something very important that I found a while back and I remember mentioning this on Twitter in replies. I know it's not the most canon thing ever, but on a Rayman wanted poster that they made which also includes Ed and Rocket, it says, "Seeking 1001 lums and the four faces of Polochus."

I'm pretty sure the game only features 1000 Lums, not 1001. And it's probably more canon than this poster, isn't it?

Also, RayWiki has this on the 1000th Yellow Lum article:
This Lum was originally going to be the 1001st Lum, meaning that the game would normally have 1000 Lums. That extra Lum would either have appeared in the Woods of Light or the Prison Ship.
