Re: Rayman 4 Bitter Bunnies
Hey, you guys have very good ideas. If the bunnies were red then NO ONE will match them with the wacky Raving Rabbids. I think that the original bunny that i drawed is already different enough but red could also work. But instead of editing my bunny too much, could you draw for yourself more? This is the most regular bitter bunny, that has medium attacks. So you could draw more bitter bunnies big, small, fat, thin, muscular, ugly. Like in the cancelled R4, there will also need to be many different bunnies.

As you can see, the Bitter Bunnies have a raging internal plot. They sometimes question their acts of evil, and wonder what it would be like to die, the very thing they attempt to inflict upon others. Rayman must embark on a mission not only to save the innocent, but to show the Bunnies that killing is a big no-no, and that the answer lies in the spirit of our lord and saviour, Jesus "Polokus" Christ.

I really hope that doesn’t happen.Yoshidude99 wrote:It would be cool if Rayman fights the Rabbids in Origins 2.

Re: Rayman 4 Bitter Bunnies
Agree with you guys, the Rabbids are now left of the Rayman's world.
Re: Rayman 4 Bitter Bunnies
Even though these not-wacky rabbids you talked about, Mammothphant, the rabbids are good to be left Rayman's world.Danone wrote:Agree with you guys, the Rabbids are now left of the Rayman's world.

Re: Rayman 4 Bitter Bunnies
I also think that it wouldnt be good to fit bunnies in 2d, but i still want the updated version of Rayman 4 (in 3D of course) with bitter bunnies, like the one that i drawed.
Re: Rayman 4 Bitter Bunnies
Please, Rabbids separated from Rayman please. It is all over since 2009.

But does that mean that there cant be ANY kinds of bunnies in Rayman games? Wasnt the bunny that i drawed different enough?Haruka wrote:Please, Rabbids separated from Rayman please. It is all over since 2009.

Re: Rayman 4 Bitter Bunnies
NO. They did put the Rabbids into Rayman's world like wacky and mindless creatures. It doesn't change the fact if the once peaceful and revenge-wanting rabbids would appear in ANY kind of Rayman game. Ubi lost their chances about this "Put Rayman and rabbids with each other together" idea, with putting the brainless forms and Rayman in 1 game. If they would've been starting with peaceful and tame bunnies, then i would say "Ok, put them together...", but they did the opposite.Mammothphant 2 wrote:But does that mean that there cant be ANY kinds of bunnies in Rayman games? Re: Rayman 4 Bitter Bunnies
I think the idea would have worked if they wouldn't have messed it up a second time (because in my mind, the original Raving Rabbids was fine). One silly game is a fine breakaway, and we could go right back to having a normal Rayman game with killer Rabbids. Unfortunately, they decided to screw up four or five more times, and now there's pretty much no chance people will take any kind of bunny in a Rayman game seriously. Hell, even people I knew thought Rayman was a mutated rabbid or rabbit.

I have no idea why they thought that.RayFan9876 wrote:Even people I knew thought Rayman was a mutated rabbid or rabbit.

Re: Rayman 4 Bitter Bunnies
Personally, I respect the Rabbids for being able to make their own series and making their own way. But, the time they were with Rayman brought on some of the most degrading things to do with Rayman, and unfortunately, it is what they did to Rayman that makes me feel that they should stay away from being Canon in the Rayman series. The problem with having a concept revolving around anything related to "rabbits" or "bunnies" is that they will almost always remind me of the Rabbids, regardless in difference in look, and, this in turn would only lead me to dislike the idea further, since they reference the events which led to Rayman being humiliated and eventually ending up in Limbo until Origins revived it.
Again, this is my personal view on the matter, feel free to disagree.

Isn't it obvious? He jumps and he has big ears. Aside from a kangaroo, what else would he resemble?Rayrobi wrote:I have no idea why they thought that.RayFan9876 wrote:Even people I knew thought Rayman was a mutated rabbid or rabbit. There are big differences between a rabbit/d and Rayman.

I've heard people mistake him for:
- A dog
- A cat
- A fox?
- A rabbit...
- A bear?
- A MOUSE!?
Odd.

Actually Ancels team wouldnt need to update the cancelled R4. Of course i would want an updated and improved version with bunnies like the one i drawed, but theres another solution. Ubisoft Montpellier probably has that whole game (original R4) somewhere in their files. So they could just simply dig it out of that whatever "Rayman graveyard" and release that. Its very simple and easy. I dont think that it wastes their time. They just focus on an all new Rayman game with all new enemies and stuff, like theyre probably doing right now, but when its time to release it, they could release R4 THE SAME TIME or a bit sooner so Rayman fans could play it while waiting. Especially if that RO 2 is coming, then it will be good cause we would have a 3D game too.
Hey why not, seriously. TWO RAYMAN GAMES IN THE SAME YEAR!!! WOULDNT THAT BE GREAT RAYMAN FANS? HUH? The last time when that happened was on 2005 when Rayman DS and Rayman Hoodlums Revenge came.

Re: Rayman 4 Bitter Bunnies
One which ended up being one of the most glitchiest Rayman games ever, and the other, Hoodlums' Revenge, well, I'm not sure...
I think one at a time would be better.

Really? People I know have endlessly mistook him for either a kangaroo or a rabbit.... you know, because they jump, and stand on their hind legs.Master4lyf1 wrote:- A dog

Yeah, I know that too. I was speaking from the onlooker's perspective.Mammothphant 2 wrote:@ RayFan They are not ears, its his hair.
However, from a scientific perspective, while calling it hair, I like to think of them as a sort of flexible membrane that function similarly to a tail, but also act as ears by picking up the vibrations in the air - while having the mild appearance and slang name of hair.
Re: Rayman 4 Bitter Bunnies
I share the same opinion in here. I personally like the Rabbids and the first game was ok but I honestly think that Ubisoft should have separated the Rabbids from Rayman much earlier. RRR2 has got some fun mini-games but it is awkward how Rayman shares the same voice as the Rabbids and behaves like them just to try to pretend he's also a Rabbid in order to not be figured out. There isn't even an ending cutscene to know what happens next, although in the DS version Rayman gets interviewed by human journalists. Now RRRTVP, leaving the 2D Animation in side, the game itself is the result of a rushed project to earn quick money: serious programming mistakes that provoke problems in the control sharpness/precision and can really frustrate players to beat Rayman's score in every mini-game. I played all the minigames, but I can't finish TVP at 100% and I stopped at 92% because of the issues I've said. You unlock Rabbid costumes just for a specific minigame (that is based in luck)... I don't think it is quite an incentive. And as you know, Rayman only appears in cutscenes and acts like a coward. It was a disastrous sequel of RRR2 for me.Master4lyf1 wrote:Personally, I respect the Rabbids for being able to make their own series and making their own way. After all this pandemonium, I think if Ubisoft continues to use Rabbids in another Rayman game people will think it is a party-game or a game whose quality does not make justice to a real Rayman platformer.
I want to see another 3D Rayman platformer (Rayman 4 please!), but... Rabbids in it? No thanks. Even if I like them at a point.
