I thought that too.
But I am sick and tired of Rayman characters making cameos in other games, be they Rayman, Rabbids or otherwise.

Old Rayman characters making cameos in new Rayman games is excellent, though.

What do you mean by cameo exactly? I thought it meant like the statue of Ly in Rayman M and Rayman 3.
 
Rayman 3 had alot of fun references from the previous games, but I'd rather have a whole new game.

Old characters reappearing briefly does not cause the game to stop being new.

Agreed. If there were no references to the previous games at all, that would be sucky.
 
Let's see, references. How about: the plot continues on?; characters that played major roles before play them again?
Reducing Ly to a statue is not good. :pfff:

So youe problem isn't with the references at all, then. Your problem is with the lack of recurring major characters.

If Ly was to have a re-appearance, she has to be in her original form. No stupid ponytail!


Infact, I think she deserves her own game.
 
I'm not so keen on foreign cameos... like characters from other games appearing. I don't like the idea that Ubisoft tries to interconnect their games.
