Pfft, clicked the link and was scared shitless as soon as the boy/girl? started singing. Ah god Kuri now my ears are hurting again. This is what happens when a bunch of friends get together and think they can become musicians. They make ear percing stuff like that. I kinda wanna hear the final version just to see how stupid it turns out. What kind of Chorus was this exactly? NicoNico?
And i'm pretty glad you didin't make it ethier to be honest, it would look silly.
 
What is NicoNico? It was someone who randomly started making a YouTube chorus for vocaloids. I didn't really understand it much. But I found out by Skype that this is her uh, first try at making a chorus. She was having at first a legit try out. She gave everyone a two week deadline to record things for, I just sent in an early audition.....

Then she started revealing randomly the names of her friends who were automatically in, cut the chorus from like 9 voices to like 5-ish. Moved the deadline from the 18th to the 10th, then didn't give anyone else an opportunity to try out, just said "Nah, I've got the ones I need." and according to it, people who she talks to alot who already know her.

She had auditions for like, mixer artists too, but she ended up denying all of them and said she'd mix it herself....she has no mixing experience. >_<; Oh, and she also gave herself an automatic part in the chorus, and put up her "audition" which was......worse than what i showed for the other person, but she apparently took it down. xD Because someone was giving her thumbs down on it, I guess. I noticed that when i visited it.

Its all very strange >_>

I'm just a little miffed because, I took out my time to look up lyrics AND sing a section, just for her to randomly choose all of her close friends anyway without any kind of real decision making. I feel like I wasted my time. That's why I'm ranting so hard. Like seriously, I have better things to do that to try out for a chorus that was basically predestined with people from the beginning. -___-
 
This is an example of a NicoNico Chorus A bunch of singers from NicoNicoDouga get togehter and sing a song from whatever they choose.

And yeah, it is a let down. I wouldin't worry about it too much, atleast you had an excuse to sing right? :P
Next time though I think you should research the person whos asking for adutions a bit. Look for someone more professinal rather than someone who has no idea what thier doing and thinks they can make a Chorus with the snap of a finger. You're much better than that Kurui.

Also, do you have any more of those audtion videos from the people who got in? I'm in need of a good laugh.

I didn't think i could get into any high standing ones yet because my sickness fscks up my voice pretty bad and I didn't have a professional studio type quality mic (but I will have one in a few days~ :D ), but something thats semi-hobbyist quality would be adequate for me to get into. lol

I like the song you linked. Reminds me of one of my games' songs for some reason except more bright whereas the song I'm talking about is dark-ish :P and guitar and orchestral driven.

That one, thats so badly mixed right now, but I was trying out various harmonies and lamenting background vocals. Its going to be fun to re-re-record it again xD But the instrumental is nowhere near done.......so I hope it gets done and mixed good soon so I can use it. I hope I find an actual full chorus of voices for this song :/ Its meant to be sang by a group, not just one person >_>..........

Sounding good so far, and you know you could always hold auditions on youtube (Just a bit more y'know better sounding) to find people to sing in the chorus. I also have a friend who sings but I haven't heard her voice in awhile so i'm really not sure how good it acually is. I'm not even sure if shes can really sing lol

I get a few verses on the upcoming horrorcore album, BC2012. Just warning up. ~__^ I think I killed my crazy accent for the most part so I actually sound threatening instead of sexual this time around XD. But yeah. rofls. Horrorcore ftw.
