What's that? You're a prefect? That's nice for you. Don't bully those freshmen too hard, now, okay?

I really like the increased waves of Roebel Piartes in Revolution. I'm not too keen on the decoration spam they've thrown in some levels though; the Woods of Light just looked like they had to include more and more and more little artefacts and details. It's nice in one way, and really ugly in another.
Somebody changed my post from Perfect to prefect :|
Gee! I wonder who that ''somebody'' person was!!
Must have been a real meanie!!
Maybe it is YOU! 80% it was you.
I think it was the Roebel Piartes.
No. I am sorry for what I said Rulez :(

It's really too bad quote pyramids would probably not pass for a signature.

Well, if we're done joking about spelling...
I decided to play Rayman 2 from scratch, and for once, I stood still and marvelled at how the game looked, and appreciated the hard work that must have gone into it.

You hadn't done this before? Well, I guess the game is immersive. But, good, did you like anything in particular? I'm always looking out for how they did some things; I remember studying certain textures really hard back when I was doing that entry for the UbiContest for Rayman Origins, so I could figure out how to draw in their style. I learnt some interesting things.

I probably know every single geometrical wall of Rayman 2 inside and out, I've studied it so much.

It's hard to explain, it could be due to the fact that I got the PS1 version of Rayman 2 first, and the textures, whilst good, were nothing much to shout about, as such I just enjoyed the game.
When I first got the PC game, I was busy trying to get reaccustomed with the game, and with the major differences between the PS1 and PC version, I was too busy trying to get used to the game again.
Fast forward to today, where I started a clean file again, after 100% many Rayman 2 versions, I decided to stop and admire the view, rather than blaze through the game as I had many a time before, so I guess the reason why I did it now was just because I thought it was time for a change of pace.

I think the Woods Of Light stood out to me in particular, it's quite lush and I do like the colours.

Some people use rude words to make themselves feel big and cool. It's nothing to worry about.

Yes, just like some ignorant people can't see the irony and actually think some people are serious when they're not. Can you believe it?

Probably the reason I myself like the Woods of Light so much is because of the music. The guitar theme is quite different than the rest of the game's music, and it's literally perfect for the environment, even moreso than the other tracks.

I might say that whenever I think of Rayman 2, the first thought goes EXACTLY to the guitar from the Woods of Light. I think it's the perfect way to introduce new players.

Ah, so calling an eleven-year-old a 'clit Jew' was actually an example of your extremely intelligent and sophisticated satirical humour. You truly are a master of irony and subtlety, Rulez. Your posts add so much to this forum! I don't know what we'd do without you.

Ah, so me never mentioning intelligent humour, or any humour at all, still means I had it in mind? And let me play a bit with your irony - yes, my post do add much to this forum! The problem is, you don't know which ones!

When I think of Rayman 2, I think of that main theme that's used everywhere throughout the score, and especially I think of the song from the Prologue. That tune has become as much part of me as my own cells have... which is weird, I know... stop staring at me now, k plz?

I know that feeling as well. I especially like the version of the song that is in the Precipice.

That one's amazing. It perfectly completes that stage. Everything about the Precipice is exactly like it should be. It's quick, skill-testing and exciting and sometimes you have to act fast if you want to get to all the Cages.

If I had anything to complain about in that stage, it's the last area (the one with the purple water). That seemed a bit rushed and dull compared to the perfection that lay before it.
