Everyone here has quite diverse opinions, but all in all what what is your favorite version of Rayman 2? I'd have to go with the N64 version, One: it is the original version of the game. Two: It's the first version I played, I now own the N64, PS1, PS2, DS, and 3DS ports of R2 now I need to buy and complete the Sega Dreamcast version.

Dreamcast version for me, it is undoubtly the best R2. The PC version is the best one of the classical versions (and my first version) and for a gameplay alternative people can always try out Rayman Revolution in PS2.

PC counts as the original also.
DC is my favourite, it's the original and then some.

This morning I've finished Revolution 100% for the fifth time. Reminded me of the fucking annoying John Lennon missiles, and how I used to think this version was the best. Oh silly me. It might be my third-favorite. PC is the most nostalgic for me.

Hello, I'm new to this community but I was curious if there was a comprehensive list of tricks/skips/glitches for speedrunning Rayman 2, I've seen a couple on youtube and watched Manocheese's WR run, but everything is so spread out! X_x

Did you type that in a hurry?
Erm...I don't think we have dedicated speedrunners here, but I'd be glad to be proven wrong.

Sort of, also I hit the spacebar quicker than I hit everything else sometimes. I mainly ask because I saw the "Ultimate Glitch" posted on page 70 or so and was thinking there might be more glitch knowledge floating around. :P

There is a glitch topic lying around somewhere, I'd link you to it, but I'm limited to posting on my smartphone atm.

I will have to dig in a litle more later when I'm fed up with practicing. ;D

I guess you'd be referring to this.

Also, I could give you a few pointers to speedrun R2, but it all depends on what exactly you want to do. Do you want to complete the levels in their entirety, capturing all lums, or do you just want to complete the levels, i.e. pass through the end Spiral Door?

I would probably consider myself more of a 'beat the game with minimum requirements' person, since I'm far from a hardcore gamer. :P
