Re: Favourite cake?
Alrighties, then those are going on my wishlist!
Re: Favourite cake?
I seemed to already have them and I didn't know where they came from, so I must've had a deal or something before.

Re: Favourite cake?
Love a good red velvet cake especially if I make them myself or find a decent vegetarian one.

Man a good red velvet cake would do wonders to my mood. Chocolate and cream cheese frosting....mmmm!

Re: Favourite cake?
A year ago a vegan cake shop opened down the road and this was one of the first things I bought from there. I haven't had a "jar cake" like that since but from time to time I'd have a cupcake or a cookie sandwich from there.

Re: Favourite cake?
I've never had a jar cake myself despite the fact there's one down the road from me for at least a year now.
Re: Favourite cake?
I really like the Budapest Roll - a hazelnut meringue roll with whipped cream and whatever fruit you happen to have.
Most cakes with sponge layers are very good too.

Re: Favourite cake?
I just googled it...and want to eat it!
Re: Favourite cake?
It's delicious and pretty easy to make. The only somewhat tricky part is rolling the meringue.

Re: Favourite cake?
Doing anything involving a meringue is tricky though, even an Eton mess.
Re: Favourite cake?
Whatever it is, it sounds really nice.

I can't bring myself to eat now despite how delicious everything is I'm just tired now
Re: Favourite cake?
That's how I've felt all day, I haven't had any sort of appetite and I felt like throwing up.

Re: Favourite cake?
Well I don’t feel like throwing up at least.
Re: Favourite cake?
Lucky you, I didn't get that lucky.

Re: Favourite cake?
I had plenty to eat today including the infamous Greggs vegan sausage roll that my sister brought over so I shouldn't really eat much more.
Re: Favourite cake?
Yeah the RD fatigue is getting real for me also.
As for cakes, I forgot to mention that one of my all-time favorite cake has to be lemon cake. I've always loved lemon flavor, even with ice cream for instance.

Re: Favourite cake?
I used to like chocolate cakes when I was younger, but choco alone gave me problems.
Nowadays I prefer fruit-based cake instead.

Re: Favourite cake?
Yup, still how I feel to this day. A chocolate cheeesecake with some sort of fruit and nut topping, now that would be awesome!
