Then you must be the worst Rayman 1 player because it is impossible to take damage on bonus rounds.

I'm damn jealous right now. :| [Basically because i got nothing for my Rayman Advance walkthrough done with no HP lost in the whole game, but oh well... ]
Also, i see you just acquired the Globox rank, Master, congrats!

On the subject on rayman 1's difficulty, am I the only one who found Space Mama easier than Mr.Stone? I keep hearing that Space mama is the hardest boss in the game :|

Mr.Stone was more harder than Space mama....BECAUSE HES MADE OF STONE FUIGEYURGYUW4ERGU4EYURGB IM SO FUNNY..
 
Yes, hilarious.

Space Mama, I think is harder due to the constant dodging required, particularly when she's hiding behind the washing machine.
 
The only part the troubled me was that washing machine.
But for some reason I think Mr.Stone has more attack patterns to remember, such as throw basketball rock then it goes slam slam slam, waiting for the stone dogs to appear, where Mr.Stone is gonna land, and when the cloud is gonna appear, and sometimes Mr.Stone's attack patterns can catch you off guard..

Space mama on the other hand...
She shoots, you hit her, she flies and makes teddy frying pans, you dodge them, repeat the process.

Up untill the washing machine part, and then you do the process AGAIN.

Anyways, why Space Mama is actually hard to beat is because the boss fight with her is extremely long, so you have a bigger chance to lose all your HP, and because it is near impossible to avoid getting hit at the first part, you have to hit her right when she's moving towards you to avoid her coming to close.
As for the level itself, Part 3 is probably the hardest part of the entire game, if not Pencil Pentathlon part 2. These are by far the toughest ones.
 
Indeed, Stone may have had attacks aplenty, but for the most part, the reaction time they gave was far more than the almost impulsive reaction Space Mama's lasers gave.
 
The part when space mama takes cover behind the washing machine is the hard part, the rest of the battle is a piece of cake.
When I first battled Mr.Stone, It made me want to throw my laptop across the room (This was my first time playing Rayman 1 Properly BTW), when I first encountered Space mama, I did die but never got frustrated.

I can understand space mama's battle being more harder because she has more health and she has a long ass boss battle, and you encounter her TWICE.

The level Pencil Pentathlon is a different story for me, Call me a noob but Its the only level (besides Eat at joes) where I needed a walkthrough to get through 1 tiny part, that part being in the helicopter hair part, and I needed to get past 1....fucking...WAALLLL!!!!

I can actually pass Pencil Pentathlon without any damage :P
 
Hm, you're playing the PC version then? Perhaps there might be some difference which causes that effect.
Picture City as a whole is an ass, though it's Space Mama's Crater that has the controller-throwingly aggravating area.

You are probably right about you thinking Space Mama is easier. Space Mama has 12 health points, uses a washing machine at the start of the fight to hurt you, fires a lot of those bomb things which is hard to not get hit, and fires constantly. Space Mama is harder then Mr.Stone, and you ain't that funny. I beated Mr.Stone without dying on my first time but in the Space Mama fight, I died 3 times.

I agree with this. Space Mama's battle is the longest and especially when you are playing against her for the first time you'll often get surprised by her tricky moves like the double laser beams, landing too close to you (while you later release that she'll only land on the coordinate where Rayman was at a point that a sound is played), the washing machine as a shield, and so on. The part before her battle in Space Mama's Crater is also what I qualify as the toughest level part of the whole game since it requires a true dexterity when controlling Rayman while the great majority of the players haven't adquired that ability, ending up to lose lots of lives or wasting continues in a worst scenario.

EDIT: @Stoney! I would advice you to reduce the scale of your signature, it is too big.
 
I skipped many segments of Space Mama's Crater and I just rushed to get cages. I did not even want to try to get statues or any other stuff
