In some versions, R1 intro sequence had this great fourth wall breaker, and making a reference to it was... badly needed. It sounded only logical to add a message board reference in order to make it make ANY sense.

Not sure if this is what you're asking about, but 'breaking the fourth wall' is a phrase used to describe a situation in which fictional characters make a reference to the real world. For example, in the game Drawn to Life, the characters Jowee and Mari discuss how their god (you) must be perceiving them. Jowee makes the suggestion that (s)he's got some sort of rectangular device with two windows in it, with all kinds of knobs on the sides used to control the Hero, plus a drawing stick of some kind used to control actions in the world. What the character has effectively described is the DS system and the use of its components in the game.RayFan9876 said:
