Yeah, that's pretty much the prerequisite for many a deathless run in many games, still, I could probably manage it in Rayman 2 and 3 easy.

Thinking about Picture City, the one level that really gets me angry is the last level of Pencil Pentathlon where I have to jump through those fucking pencils.

The slidy jump of no running?
That was sadistic of Ubi to have such a piece there to fool players.

It's even harder in Rayman Advance because the physics are different. I still haven't figured out how to properly and smoothly get through it in that version.

You can't do it the way it was designed. Luckily, if you run and use your helicopter for only about one third its normal time, you will land on a disappearing cloud between two groups of pencils which I believe is exclusive to the GBA version.

The jump through those pencils, but I learned it and now I don't get as angry now and also don't die a couple times.

When I first played that level, I tried to run and sometimes it work but I walked and it works so I might complete this game without dying, but probably won't.

It is also possible to beat the game damageless, but it requires a lot of luck in Mr. Dark's battle when you face the Moskito Mamas.

That slidy jump of death pencils makes me laugh and cry at the same time.

Haruka:
I'm pretty sure I've seen your walkthroughs on youtube. You make fighting Mister Dark look so easy! How far have you ever gotten without dying?

What's this about the Mister Dark fight being hard? The Mama-Moskitos have do have somewhat of a predictable pattern. I usually manage it so that I'm constantly chain-hitting the one on the right, and most of its… 'dough bullets' between each hit hits the one on the left. It's probably the hardest out of the three, though I still consider the Mister Dark fight as a whole to be the easiest in the entire game.

Me neither. I can do it until picture city.

Agree. As for bosses. Space Mama is probably hardest for me.

If you check my PS1 (and PC if I remember well) walkthroughs, they are both deathless too.

@Ad Yeah, oddly enough once I managed to defeat Mr. Dark without any damage on PC, pity it was not for recording. :P

2 years ago I managed to get all the way through Picture City without dying, it was in the 3rd level. I just wasn't fast enough for the controls.

I already done it in summer ( Rayman Advance ). :D But Moskito Mamas? They are a piece of cake compared to Pencil Pentathlon Part 2, Eraser Plains Part 1, Space Mama's Crater part 3, or Eat at Joe's Part 2 and 3. Now these are hard.

It reminds me, i also have to reupload those vids to my newest youtube channel.
